I have to agree with Hub, you will have no problem with the girls working on the same soi. Personally I don't barfine on the same soi my hotel is on. This a rule, I've broken many times.

September thru December 15 prices go down. They go up till January then back down thru May. Summer is the high season. With gas prices real high book early. Try and fly with one airline as the frequent flyer miles pile up real fast. I pay for two the third one is free. 2 days until wheels UP.

I also like the in room massage at the Flipper Lodge. Ask for URAI, 300 for the massage and 500 for full service. I just put the money out were she can see it. She has never asked for more.

Family Mart is located on Soi 17 as you walk toward the condo. Outside the condo is laundry service and small bars.

I've stayed at both Flippers. Equal value for the money.

Banyan Tree is about 3 or 4 blocks from Patpong and 15 or 20 minutes by taxi. Great place to stay.

This works best during low season and if you are staying 7 days or longer and the longer you stay the better the discount. Find out the name of the hotel manager and email him. I let him know how much I'm willing to pay and that I'm emailing 5 other 5 star hotels today and whoever gets back to me first with the best price gets my business. The manager has the authority to offer deep discounts. I also belong to the different hotels frequent hotel stay program and I include this information. Many times when you get a discount rate the first time the manager will match that rate in the future during low season. Plus it's easier as a returning guest to get upgraded to the executive floor. I travel on my own nickel and over the years this has been very successful.

I would think it's kinda tough to find AC room for 165. Check out www.skytoppattaya.com they have AC, TV, fridge, in room safe for 350 per night. Good location on 2nd Rd near soi 6.

On the other hand, there must be loads of farangs who just don't give out the correct information or decide to change plans etc. and fuck the driver off. Bit of a double edged sword in my opinion. I never book anyone. I may stay in Bangkok then again, I might not. its just easier to pick a decent Toyota up for Bt1500/1600 or a cab for Bt1200 or so. torrenova, Ib the owner at Residence Garden about 18 months ago told me he was going to start requiring guys from this board and I guess other boards to give him a credit card # so he could charge all the no shows one night. I don't know if he did this. For the experienced guys grabbing a cab is no problem since we know are way around Pattaya.

cowboy, Where are you flying from for the $525. UA flight. Do not route thru Europe as the price goes up like a rocket. When I use UA website to book, I use the multi city option and route myself, PHL-ORD-NRT-BKK and the price I get is around $715USD this price is available September thru early December. With the price of gas at a all time high, I don't expect any heavy discounts this fall. I would book now.

I stayed at the Yensabai Condo twice. I like the room very large studio with a sitting area with a couch and two chairs. Good AC, TV and fridge. In room safe. Swimming pool which I never used but looked nice. What I didn't like was the walk to Second Road. During the day I was in the sun both ways. They are currently running a special 499 per day.

So would you buy something on the reccomendation of someone who is not even in the country or prefer your own judgement. ROLAND, I would at least take a look at it.

ROLAND, What you say is true but I was able to turn him on to a property that he knew nothing about. Granted it didn't meet his requirment's but he aware of this and so are others that may be looking for a cheap clean place to stay.
