  1. At the moment I am checking prices for October and there doesn’t seem to be many deals around, (Just back 2 weeks ago ) Will wait a couple of months and see what’s around as £5-600 on Thai or EVA is a little rich for my blood.
  2. Best Stunt show I’ve ever seen; Purple Helmets
  3. This will answer your question; Skid Lid Edit in , can you see a Thai paying 15000 for a helmet?
  4. yep but bringing a "ROOF Boxter" much cooler
  5. Wear a healmet at all times it may save your life
  6. I think I owe you a couple for Fkin you thread The LHR was meant to be open for anyone on the same flight as me
  7. Sorry made a balls up, I arrive on the earlier flight TG 911 at 06.05hrs. Still up for a few brews in LHR or taxi share to soi 11
  8. Sort of hijacking your thread sorry. Be on the same flight but staying in BKK for a couple of nights before heading down to party town. So up for a couple of beers in LHR or a cab share to Sukhumvit soi 11 with others if they want.
  9. Look at the Swiss Park on soi 11 has pool and all you need, standard about 1200thb and executive (nice big rooms) about 1800. Good location clean and well maintained.
  10. Wombat, is this a regular event or just a one off ? Would love to go, any locations in BKK that could organise tickets? Or is it just for people in the know ?
  11. Got to back you up on this Monkeyman, it’s bloody hilarious had to pull the truck into the side a few times and dry my eyes
  12. Just as a "heads up" I've just booked a return from Bangkok to Phuket in May for just under 1400thb less than £20 got to be worth a look Air Asia seem to be having a sale
  13. Best (cheep) way is to take the overnight sleeper train from BKK to Chiang Mai, cost about 900thb one way. But I think flying is a fairly cheap option with the low cost carriers now, though I enjoyed my train trip when I went there I flew back to save time. Hotel I would recommend is the Tapae Place just near the night market very near the action and GF at 700thb per night a nice place.
  14. I like the Swiss Park on soi11, no guest hassels if you book a double, got it for just over 1000 a night in May through these people; Precision Reservations
  15. I know Phuket had cancelled a flight or two so maybe they were just trying to put other (higher paying) punters on your flight from the cancelled one's.
  16. Or do you mean the Honey Hotel Bangkok? 31 Sukhumvit Road 19, Bangkok 10110 Tel (662) 2530646/9 2557172 2556795/6 Fax (662) 2544716 e-mail honeyho@ks.th.com If it is the Honey BKK just book with them direct you wont get cheaper through a web site.
