  5. Good link CT, I’ve used it before very easy to understand and full of good info. Stemer, the western toilet is on one side the squat on the other.
  6. Always reminds me of the “stunner” you took back that night………….Then when you see her in the morning with no makeup and in daylight. Some things should be kept in the dark.
  7. After a good few years visiting Thailand these little pests can get on your nerves in every tourist town from Bangkok to Phuket and especially Pattaya. Its especially annoying when you meet the same one every day as you leave your hotel or go on your daily rounds, three times a day of saying “no I don’t want a suit” can get pretty grating. My solution Take The War To Them. I like to stroll soi 6 and anyone who knows there is a particular annoying bastard at the beach road end who will even bother you if you stop at Stone Oven for a meal and a drink. Second time I saw him I thou

  10. My very amateur and clumsy review of this book; A well written very entertaining and for me at the same time gripping and educational (re historic Thailand) book about one mans innocence been “lost” in the drinking clubs dance halls and brothels of 1950’s Thailand. After a journey that starts with his goodbyes at his family home, a rectory in the leafy English countryside, via his landlady’s house in north London. 13. I’m staying here at the moment Jacuzzi room, an absolute bargain at 100thb a night. I move to the smaller room on the 17th but after having a look in one they still seem VFM at 650thb. Me and KP ate there last night and both enjoyed our meals we both struggled to finish a starter and a main as the portion sizes are quite generous I doubt I could do a 3 course meal there without starving my self during the day. The food was very good and tasty, though I had a bit of a wait from my egg fried rice arriving to the Crispy chilli beef. They were quite busy with orders coming out all at the same
  14. You say it’s your favourite animal yet condone the poor bugger being drugged out of his skull so you can have a holiday snap.
  15. I’ve never liked the practice and have never participated. Most of these animals are sedated so that they can be used to generate revenue for there handlers, a cruel practice that if you’re an animal lover you should not condone.
  16. Look interesting, never seen them before only the Spy ones
