Buying my first touch/smart phone
Montydog replied to teelack's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I upgraded in February (in the UK) to a Nokia 800 Lumia, bloody love it. :thumbup As for the OP re the battery life drain the battery totally 3-4 times then fully recharge then you should/will start getting better run time out of it. -
Any major price difference between UK and LOS? Enquiry for a mate who’s coming over and want to know if it’s worth carting a tub over or is it just the same price or even cheaper in Pattaya also where to buy. I would guess Tony’s and other gym’s and I seem to remember an ad on Pattaya People TV for a “fitness” shop somewhere as well. Thanks in advance Monty

Try e-mailing these people they have good reliable service and I wont use anyone else for my taxi trips to and from the Swamp or Don Muang anymore. But they do Hua Hin and other places but I don’t know if they do long haul as such, you also have to factor in the guy’s coming back at least as far as BKK empty, http://www.thelimopattaya.com/ Or try a taxi across town to Don Muang and Nok air if it fits your timings better,

Where to invest in rental property in Pattaya
Montydog replied to Piet969's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
My advice would be to invest in property in your home country where everything, laws, language, ownership, etc, everything and I mean everything would be a lot easier. The rents will probably be proportionally higher as well so just build up “at home” and live on the profits in Thailand. -
200thb price that’s hard to swallow.

Tune Hotel opens in Pattaya
Montydog replied to BigDUSA's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Funnily enough just read this on WSG from poster “tophudge” seems to back up cappi. "OK, back up this stream was a question about the Tune hotel in Pattaya. The gods had me go to International Hospital today (all negative, thank you) and that put me almost across Soi 4 from the hotel. Went in to get the real facts as promised. And off we go. Room rates, would not quote me a rate except for as I was standing in front of the desk. Would not give me a rate card. Said they change rates constantly as demand rises or falls. Rate if I wanted to check in today at about 1530 was 706B. Now f -
I know it takes ages for me to visit the bogs in the Queen Vic on Soi 6 as there are loads of these framed around the walls, also a lot of the “English seaside saucy postcard” type as well. For those that don’t know the “art form” I refer to. http://www.google.co.uk/search?tbm=isch&hl=en&source=hp&biw=1024&bih=685&q=saucy+seaside+postcards&gbv=2&oq=Saucy+&aq=1&aqi=g10&aql=&gs_sm=1&gs_upl=1738l3787l0l7011l6l6l0l0l0l0l75l420l6l6l0

Very funny site, http://www.siamtastic.com/ A transvestite, a midget, and a hooker walk into a bar . . . no, that’s not the beginning of a joke. That actually happened last night. God, I love Thailand. – Overheard at Subway on Sukhumvit

Yep, My bad, too early for maths worked it backwards if that makes sense

Bottled water way cheaper in LOS than the UK. A 5 litre bottle costs £1.50 roughly 300thb in a supermarket where I’m fairly sure from a 7/11 in LOS its about 50thb

Some will some wont, same same as girls.

What a pointless bit of BS rant by the OP. What’s next why you can’t get sushi in Mac D’s
