  1. I love this story if Khun Manop ever sees me I’ll buy him a couple of cold ones: :thumbup http://www.pattayaone.net/pattaya-news/52113/suspected-necklace-thief-ran-over-good-samaritan/
  2. Thanks danboy and everybody I’ll pass that on, you’ve been a great help as usual
  3. Thanks for the replies so far lads. Any idea on price?
  4. I upgraded in February (in the UK) to a Nokia 800 Lumia, bloody love it. :thumbup As for the OP re the battery life drain the battery totally 3-4 times then fully recharge then you should/will start getting better run time out of it.
  5. Any major price difference between UK and LOS? Enquiry for a mate who’s coming over and want to know if it’s worth carting a tub over or is it just the same price or even cheaper in Pattaya also where to buy. I would guess Tony’s and other gym’s and I seem to remember an ad on Pattaya People TV for a “fitness” shop somewhere as well. Thanks in advance Monty
  6. Did that used to be “Juice” (or something like that) in that location?
  7. Cheap is not always Value for money I would not eat that if they gave me the 55thb.
  8. Try e-mailing these people they have good reliable service and I wont use anyone else for my taxi trips to and from the Swamp or Don Muang anymore. But they do Hua Hin and other places but I don’t know if they do long haul as such, you also have to factor in the guy’s coming back at least as far as BKK empty, http://www.thelimopattaya.com/ Or try a taxi across town to Don Muang and Nok air if it fits your timings better,
  9. As usual superb
  10. As usual superb
  11. My advice would be to invest in property in your home country where everything, laws, language, ownership, etc, everything and I mean everything would be a lot easier. The rents will probably be proportionally higher as well so just build up “at home” and live on the profits in Thailand.
  12. 200thb price that’s hard to swallow.
  13. Funnily enough just read this on WSG from poster “tophudge” seems to back up cappi. "OK, back up this stream was a question about the Tune hotel in Pattaya. The gods had me go to International Hospital today (all negative, thank you) and that put me almost across Soi 4 from the hotel. Went in to get the real facts as promised. And off we go. Room rates, would not quote me a rate except for as I was standing in front of the desk. Would not give me a rate card. Said they change rates constantly as demand rises or falls. Rate if I wanted to check in today at about 1530 was 706B. Now for the rest of the story. For the 706 baht, you get a room. One towel and toiletries "Kit" (bar of soap, perhaps some toothpaste or such) was 120 baht. Need another towel, will be happy to rent you as many as you want. Wi-fi is 50/180 baht for 12/24 hours. Air conditioning (you are going to need it until probably December or so) is 12/24 hours for 140/230 baht. TV? 120 baht. They have a special time window for checking in/out. If you are early and want a room, or want a late check out, another 120 baht. Location is Second Road and Soi 4. Easy baht bus get to and get away. Email for this particular hotel is enquiry.thai@tunehotels.com Have to admit that I did not ask about guests, but with one towel to begin with (and it is not a large one) my guess is that she will also have some sort of Tune fee attached. Those interested further can certainly use the email above. Obviously someone likes this type of operation or the chain would not be in business and expanding. For me, I will mark them off my referral list for anyone coming here. I hate being nickle and dimed at every turn. (American expression) Think that about covers the Tune. Will try to answer questions from anyone interested. "
  14. I know it takes ages for me to visit the bogs in the Queen Vic on Soi 6 as there are loads of these framed around the walls, also a lot of the “English seaside saucy postcard” type as well. For those that don’t know the “art form” I refer to. http://www.google.co.uk/search?tbm=isch&hl=en&source=hp&biw=1024&bih=685&q=saucy+seaside+postcards&gbv=2&oq=Saucy+&aq=1&aqi=g10&aql=&gs_sm=1&gs_upl=1738l3787l0l7011l6l6l0l0l0l0l75l420l6l6l0

  16. Very funny site, http://www.siamtastic.com/ A transvestite, a midget, and a hooker walk into a bar . . . no, that’s not the beginning of a joke. That actually happened last night. God, I love Thailand. – Overheard at Subway on Sukhumvit
  17. Yep, My bad, too early for maths worked it backwards if that makes sense
  18. Bottled water way cheaper in LOS than the UK. A 5 litre bottle costs £1.50 roughly 300thb in a supermarket where I’m fairly sure from a 7/11 in LOS its about 50thb
  19. Some will some wont, same same as girls.
  20. What a pointless bit of BS rant by the OP. What’s next why you can’t get sushi in Mac D’s
  21. Blasts from the past here, was SB sig "It's Nice to be nice."
