  1. Meanwhile in little Johnny’s classroom;
  2. That last one brilliant :thumbup
  3. Found this awhile ago on the net and just re-found it on my HD. Made me smile hope you enjoy Changes to the Hotel California, Made in Response to Mr. Henley’s Recent Complaint. BY John Moe - - - - Update room décor, including removal of ceiling mirrors Restock spirit supplies, encourage Captain to offer guests other options Acquire steelier knives and/or less resolute beast Emphasize “heaven” image over less desirable “hell” alternative Install electric-light system in hallway (long overdue), reassign employee who has been showing guests to room by candlelight Upgra
  4. Nice shots Billions really captures the place “warts and all” I wonder why you placed these two pictures after each other 55555
  5. He also directed Slumdog Millionaire, doesn’t make him Indian
  6. Those must be the most expensive 3 rooms in Thailand, twelve thousand six hundred THB a day and you have to walk up 3 flights of stairs.
  7. Far from a Scot; Boyle was born on 20 October 1956 in Radcliffe, Lancashire (now in the modern day metropolitan borough of Bury, Greater Manchester),[2] into a working-class Irish Catholic family. His mother was from Ballinasloe in County Galway, and his father was born in England to an Irish family.[3]
  8. Thought the whole thing was fantastic, much better than I expected and the cauldron lighting by the young hopefuls at the end was inspired. Well done Danny Boyle and everyone involved. :thumbup
  9. This is just sheer brilliance.
  10. This is a nice place, well situated, good value and guest friendly. http://www.tapaeplacehotel.com/
  11. 1400thb, 200 more than there Swamp service. But more tolls and further.
  12. I’ll push my favourite again always been there never a let down although it was funny the last time as the girl couldn’t find her way out of Don Muang arrivals to the lift for the car park. Was new for her she had only picked up at the Swamp before. But once on the road a very pleasant journey. http://www.thelimopattaya.com/
  13. BL, Oasis, though a go-go has draught Tiger on and has a happy hour (cant remember price) and I’ve always had girls with good attitude from there and if you like to gamble and can hold your nerve the BF gets gradually knocked down throughout the night. And a couple of the bars on the left as you head into Metro from Buakhoa do draught The Rovers do a lovely Guinness plus others as well. I doubt the bars down Lenkee do enough business to warrant a draught on tap.
  14. A concern I had as well. But asking guests last May when I just hung around there but didn’t stay, It was not an issue
  15. He’s improved the bar and made changes to the rooms since those reviews mate. Dennis runs a good place always making sure the rooms are in good order and well maintained. As others have said great place great staff great boss (Somkid) and Dennis is not a bad chap either I’ve managed to book myself in for November, but not my first choice of rooms so if you do want a room book early
  16. That is good of them, In any situation “cock up’s” can occur. For any company let alone a Thai company to admit there mistake and “man up” about it is outstanding IMO. Well done Bell Bus
  17. Stayed there in May with KP, I had forgotten this thread and the 200thb joiner fee. Can’t fault the bar, food or staff all top notch. But as for the rooms old tired and “dark” in mine the aircon was fucked and struggled to cool the room, even after the owner “fixed” it. My safe was fucked and had to be locked by a key and as the key was slightly bent was a chore and if a little pissed you are in danger of snapping the thing off in the lock. As for the 200thb joiner fee to cover cost of security, what a fucking joke, one night we had to be quiet coming in as we didn’t want to wak
  18. As always, top class much appreciated :thumbup
  19. Just book a place with good wi-fi as suggested or I know the China Garden also has wired internet as well. But unless you connect through a UK proxy server you wont get iPlayer though you can pick up all the radio stations.
