Parking on Beach Road

What law are they violating? Is that on Soi 14 or 15 or both? -

They should make a killing on fines if they are enforcing that then. Look how far the sign is from the intersection. Usually at that point the last place I am looking is up towards a sign, because I'm jockeying for a way to get into the left lane. Forewarned then, and thank you, jacko (and Idefix). -

Is there a no left on red sign on Pattaya Klang going westbound at 3rd Road? I always make a left there no matter the color of the light if it's clear, and I don't recall seeing a sign, nor has anyone in front or behind me that I could tell. -
Good report. You might want to review you last sentence BTW.

Sitting in a bar on walking street, watching the people, while waiting for some chili con carne to cook in the slow cooker. It should be ready about 2:30 am...got started late as usual. Can you guess where I am? -
In other words, just another confirmation that the guy is a fraud.

I just woke up at 2pm after a fitful night attending to the small bladder of a puppy that we were given last month. I'm almost to the point where she's housebroken, but now she's starting to find garbage receptacles so interesting, I've also been putting them up on table tops to keep them away from her. In spite of my best efforts, after I awakened at 2pm, while I was on the computer, the puppy, who was sleeping in the bed with the missus, decided to just cut the whole process short on peed on my side of the bed, since it was nicely unoccupied. -
The USD TT rate now at Bangkok Bank is 33.08 which is the best I've seen in ages. I did a USD ATM withdrawal (no ATM fee) and just got 32.98...looking better indeed.

Did you change your night off? Best regards to Mrs. Egg. And I'm trying to decide whether to go out or stay in and watch a movie. I've hit WS the last 4 nights, so I think it might be a good day for a night at home. Meanwhile, Mrs. M is cooking us a salmon steak, steamed broccoli, and Milano risotto for dinner, so that should stuff me enough I won't even think about going out after. -
For the ticket prices, PPV prices, public venue showing prices, this article tallies them up.... http://money.cnn.com/2015/05/01/media/mayweather-pacquiao-fight/index.html

It's still in force. Refresh your page a time or two and look for one of their banner ads at the top of the page. -
***** WARNING SLIPSLAPSLOP -- DON'T LOOK AT THIS IF YOU'RE SQUEAMISH ABOUT UNCOOKED MEAT****** I frequently buy my steaks at a butcher's and cook at home using the method BeerBelly described. I just cooked one tonight..125F internal temp (rare med rare), allowed to rest 15 minutes, and then seared 1 minute per side in a very hot cast iron pan. The steaks are Aussie Angus ribeye, each cut to 1 1/2" thickness, and weighing 16oz apiece. Cost was about 750 baht for each steak, but we get two dishes out of each. The steaks... The doneness.. The fixings...

It's 50.05 at Bangkok Bank now...but then there's a 5 day holiday coming up, so who knows what you'll get by the time they get around to processing it.

How do you do that?

Tried that...left it off for hours. I fear it's another trip to Naklua lugging that thing, and then a second trip to pick it up after they "fix" it. BTW, the problem is exactly the same problem that was evident before I took it in to be serviced...3 weeks ago. Instant coffee tomorrow -

My Saeco put in near 11 years at FLB before moving to it's new home. I'm surprised it still works. On the manual issue, I haven't found one for my ancient model yet. I've had to resort to buying coffee again! The missus will figure it out, I hope. Otherwise we have to carry it forth and back to Naklua. -

Got to Banglamung Post Office, and they said it's not there. It's in the Pattaya City post office down by the Floating Market! Stopping at Bei Gerhard restaurant in Naklua, then off to south of Jomtien to track that sucker down. -

Dealing with some forum issues this morning...particularly regarding the use of the reputation system. I'm in a bad mood because a red light has lit up on the coffee machine, and it only brews half a cup. The manual is in Thai, so I have to wait for the missus to wake up and determine the problem. Plan for today is to go down to the Banglamung post office where I have a tiny package that they didn't deliver from Aliexpress. The tracking info says they "carded" (i.e. left a card in my mailbox) the delivery, but that is bullshit. We got nothing in the post indicating an attempt to deliver was made. Since this was on April 17, in the midst of Pattaya Songkran, it's my guess the postman just stayed somewhere dry and carded every damned package. Not a good start to the day. -
Using the reputation system in a clear and long pattern of giving negative reputation points to someone, no matter what they post, is an abuse of the system. Some posters are particularly disliked by some people...I understand that. But, if you register your dislike on a purely informational or polite post of that poster, you are clearly giving the poster a negative rather than the post. This is easily detectable by a review of reputation points given, and if noticed, will result in a warning at a minimum, and a restriction of access to the reputation system if not halted. Be aware that the voting is not completely anonymous.

I appreciate those who have used our Agoda link to set up hotel reservations. Please continue or plan to do so if it fits your itinerary. So far, we have generated about $100 in commissions. Agoda won't pay out till we hit $200, so keep it up! -
All I can say is, I like creamed spinach!
