  1. Did you buy it privately, or do you know a good second hand dealer?
  2. Here I was bagging Ponting for being a shit Captain (yes he's a great batsman), why would any sane person bat on that wicket after winning the toss?
  3. Happy birthday you old bastard, have a great night.
  4. 100% correct, brilliant batsman, no arguement there. WORST Captain of all time.
  5. Good work Quack Quack. I arrive in town Funky on the 27th Dec, so 3rd day of the Boxing Day test (28th Dec) at Quack Quack headquarters? It will be good to catch up. Hopfully by then you cnuts are a couple of Tests up on us Aussies and we can string Ponting up, the worst Australian Captain ever, not to mention arrogant prick.
  6. Not really into the big girls myself, but I'm glad you enjoyed your day...
  7. In for my longest trip of the year 27th Dec - 28th Jan. FLB New Years is always a great night. onelilley.
  8. villa, if I was you I would check before you travel, 1hr 5 minutes will not be enough time if you have to mess around with luggage on the way home. I would consider just taking a carry on if KLM do not have check through with China Airlines. If you booked through a travel agent ring them and get them to chyeck it out for you, they may know the answer anyway. If your ticket was done as a combined flight I would think there will be no worries with you baggage. If you booked yourself as two different flights I think you may struggle unless the airlines have that check through agreement, m
  9. I would certainly be checking Villa, some airlines have checking through agreements with each other some do not. Many are not from the same alliance, Oneworld and Star Alliance etc but check through. If you look up the website of your first flight, they should have somewhere on the site what airlines they have checking through agreements with, failing that you could ring them, on the phone I mean. Enjoy your trip.
  10. Thanks for the info kuranda_bagman, Dr Aree certainly sounds like she does quality work, I'm glad all the work you had done is still going well. I will try and get an appointment with her or another dentist at the PIH for an opinion on what work best applies to me. It certainly seems I can get quality work done in Thailand for a lot less than what it costs in Aus, sounds really good to me. Once again thanks for everyones advice, I will report back when I manage to have any work done.
  11. Greg, Thanks for the info, I'll be sure and check them out, great to get an idea on prices. oblong, Thanks for the price comparison. I have certainly found plenty of info on the veneers, both from my dentist here in Aus and learning info from the net, I understand it is a bit of a process over days but I'm sure it will be worth the effort. I will certainly be getting the ceramic veneers, bit worried about the whole grinding process though. Thanks nariad, I will check out Dr Aree to see what she offers, everyone who I've spoken to says she is fantastic. Great to h
  12. After recent dentist visits here at home in Australia, I have decided I need to bite the bullet and get porcelin veneers. My main 6 top teeth are eventually going to need a lot of surface fillings from surface wear, and fillings from chipping and wear on the ends. Rather go through these fillings which will have no guarantee and cost a decent amount of money I have been looking into these veneers. So my question is, has anyone had these done in Pattaya or does anyone know of a decent dentist in Pattaya that does these, if so would you know an approx cost per tooth? Many people recommend Dr
  13. Just ban Pakistan for good. They have been cheating for years, maybe only a few, but the whole Pakistan cricket system has had a cancer through it for as long as I can remember. Pakistan cannot play tests in their own country because of security risks, just f**k them off and be done with it. Funky are you backing the Poms against Australia? I cannot believe as an Aussie we have such a wank of a captain in Ponting, should have been strung up for losing the Ashes the first time, let alone twice...
  14. I did it no problems last Christmas, it did piss me off the two flights were not far apart gate wise but you have to mess around going through all the security shit. It is well signed and even though I had to catch the little train etc I made my flight easy. As others have said, Cathay wouldn't book it that way if it wasn't possible, if your first flight from Tokyo is late they will bump you onto the next flight at their expense, just means a few calls to people picking you up in BKK but no need to stress. onelilley.
  15. A great read as always, very entertaining. Keep up the good work, we do appreciate it.
  16. Ron, Just caught up with your news, it is impossible to work out Thai business logic when it comes to incidents like this, the landlord must be a complete f***head. Like all your friends have already said, I'm very sorry all the hard work the two of you has put into your bar hasn't had a chance to develop for you both. Looking forward to catching up late Oct. onelilley...Mark.
  17. I wouldn't make that assumption going on photos, I find most times Thai ladies are much more attractive than their photos. Also, it is very unlikely that the guys who now have The Drunken Duck will employ unattractive hostesses, or at least ones who don't know how to take good care of you.. onelilley.
  18. TTT and co, good luck with the new venture. Looking forward to catching up with you all in late Oct, many good times and accomodating ladies I'm sure, I can feel the hangovers already. Ha Ha Ha Bang Bang Bang. onelilley.
  19. Many good suggestions. One very important factor for me is carpeted hallways. Tiled hallways echo noise really badly especially high heeled shoes, peoples voices and banging doors. onelilley.
  20. I hope your Sunday booze up went well, sounds like a good way to spend a Sunday. If any New Zealand bm's read your post Stinky they will want you shot, please don't try and take their sheep shagging expertise and pass it off as an aussie trait. The whole world knows NZ holds the sheep shagging title and aways will. If you want to fly under the Australian flag, this fact is a must know. onelilley.
  21. I know one of them is happy to refer to the girls as whores every shit stirring chance he gets, now he's on his high horse spruiking about humiliation. Maybe he got one of those beer bottles wedged up his arse in one of his ladyboy bar visits. onelilley.
  22. For me pizza is a late night, beer soaker, snack on the way back to the room, usually slices as I normally stay in the Soi Diana area. When I am at PBG, I consider the Thai food to be good, and would never order pizza as a main meal with all the other choices on offer. onelilley.
  23. tomm, Can you tell us where you booked your suite, directly through the lk metropole's website or one such as agoda etc. Stayed there a few years back, didn't eat there at all, but didn't have any charges for multiple guests. onelilley.
