  1. The guy says his staff will go head to head with a taxi driver if your overcharged...WTF I gotta stay at this place just one night just to experience this bizzaro world. Warning - taxis with turbo-charged meters There are rogue taxi drivers operating vehicles with rigged meters. These illegal meters are controlled by the driver who may speed up the meter from a slow tick-over to turbo-charged increments. For most passengers and guests of The Atlanta, the turbo-charged meter remains a rare occurrence, but one about which you should know. What to do with a turbo-charged meter readout
  2. I'm South of Houston and Friday morning I loaded up dogs, horse, guns and headed to Dallas. Shut off the gas and electric which I hated to do as now I cannot monitor the house but storm damage will be rough. I did booby trap front and back doors to my house as looting will be rampant (left a combo of old style steel traps designed to snag bears and coyotes). I warned the neighbors about the traps....looks like the house will get flooded and with brown murky water on that floor no one will see those traps. Many of my neighbors refuse to leave thinking they need to protect their l
  3. Coming from a long time AC/BB fan the first impression I had on my Feb/Mar trip to Pattaya is WTF is with the price of pussy????? After some sticker shock on WS and Soi Bukaho I regrouped and got my head in the game. I was fully prepared to pay 6K baht for Pattaya's finest but the reality set in when a Soi Bukaho Princess who agreed to LT for 1.5BF and 4.5K for her then started telling me no DATY and no BJ....WTF. I passed on that.....went to WS and found a cute SW with a killer butt and awesome smile that gave a mind numbing BBBJ for 1K baht ST but two pops and she stayed 90 min.
  4. So this guy who looks about as tough as a wet piece of toilet paper is flashing that amount of currency in travel bags inside his house? Time to make a house call and see if he needs some magazine subscriptions, fruit of the month club, and before he knows it he's hanging upside down someone peeling his skin off layer by layer until he delivers those cases.
  5. The question is do Doha hotels have Russian hookers in the hotel bar like Dubai?
  6. I admit I'm a weak minded hetrosexual male who plays fast and loose with the condom. I never refuse to wear one when asked and never try to upgrade services to avoid it. Allot of girls entice guys into service without it in hope of a repeat visit or a long term relationship. I date MILFS in the states and the past two years I've had very few who ask for the condom.....my thinking on that is they want a long term relationship and will do anything to land a big fish. I feel like my chances of HIV are minimal due to my limited bareback interaction with prostitutes. Riding my b
  7. I've had the condo bug so many times...Pattaya, Angeles City, Destin, Curacao, Cartagena, Subic, Bangkok,...now I'm back in love with Pattaya and I'm inclined to think that when it comes to condos it is better to rent than own. Curacao and Cartagena were driven by a hot Colombian who I fell out of love with so I was soooooo glad I never pulled the trigger on those condo searches. Philippines has turned into a steaming pile of dog shit and I'm oh sooooooo glad I never went condo there. Around 2007 I almost bought a huge condo in Destin when people were flipping properties in Florid
  8. That was some funny shit. That open hand slap deserves a beat down just so he'll go out and try to learn how to fight like a man.
  9. found a copy of the United training video on how to treat a passenger in crisis
  10. Sounds like BA and American Airlines have the same business model.....treat the customer like shit and always remember the customer is an interruption to our work and not the purpose. I'm a big fan of Qatar Airlines.....their flights from DFW are non stop to Doha and the three trips I took over the past 6 months they are 1/2 full and I get a row to myself in economy. The legs to the final destinations ....Singapore, Bangkok, Dubai were all crowded flights so I think business is good for them.
  11. Agree with that statement. I tried several pricey Thai places on 2nd road with increased disappointment at every stop during my trip last month. I eventually said fuck it and ate KFC and McDonalds then when I moved out to Jometin Beach for the last week of my trip I tried the small places across from the beach and that was awesome Thai food at half the price I was paying in Pattaya Central 2nd Road area. Best eats I had was off a cart where this guy was making a coconut crepe like a pancake but had a crispy taste.....really great. This guy would get a long line and one afternoon I
  12. I stuck my head into several Soi 8 GoGo's in the late hours on three different nights In late February and saw nothing to make me sit down and buy a drink. Some bars I would drink in even though the girls looked rough because the music was to my liking but damn those bars offered me nothing to get me to sit down. I came to the conclusion that buying a beer at 7-11 and drinking it while getting a 200baht foot massage was better entertainment than most of the GoGo's.
  13. I booked Qatar for a late Feb trip that is direct from DFW to Doha which I've heard is usually an empty flight but expect the Doha to BKK leg to be packed with people. A cheap ticket for sure......anyone have any bad experience with this airline ?
  14. How much would electric and water average out to per month....yes I like my cold air.
  15. Depending on Manila traffic it can take 90 minutes to 2 hours. Some people claim it can be done in 60 minutes but ive had it take 60 minutes just to get from the airport to the toll booth on the highway. Cost varies like BKK to Patts but if you plan carefully you can have a driver waiting that cost you 1,600p and on a bad day 2,400p.
  16. Please update us with how this flight and the process clearing through Clark goes. Emirates is top notch but if Clark does not prepare for an increase in travelers then it could be a two hour que to clear customs and there is a problem with the taxi mafia that works Clark charging 500p just to drop you off at hotel near Fields. Given a choice of flying into NAIA or Clark I would much prefer Clark but I have heard nothing good about the customs people working that airport. I think my record for getting out of NAIA with no bags and into a taxi is 18 minutes.
  17. Typically they land these on auto pilot unless he aborts the landing then he's busy retracting slats and flaps. If this thing stalled then they are all lucky to be alive. Sounds like pilot error for sure.
  18. I do not think Leather is trying to supplant Hemingway or Thoreau from their place in the world of the written word but it sounds like an interesting read on a long airplane ride. Some how I am thinking there are multiple ladyboys in this story and one will definitely turn out to be the killer.....either that or a Russian ladyboy.
  19. A lesson in morality from someone who uses a screen name penned from a fictional serial killer.....so i'm guessing screen names like Albert Fish were already taken before deciding on Captain Spalding?
  20. That was one helluva fight to watch. Margarito was getting his ass kicked but he answered the bell and kept throwing punches and in the end both fighters earned the respect of the crowd. That's the way it should be...if a guy wont put his ass on the line every time he gets in the ring then join the WWF, which is why boxing has become a joke over the past 20 years.
  21. Yeah I remember that NYE with LY. My favorite memory of that night was some idiot taking a bar table into the middle of the Soi and putting this big ass Roman Candle on top of the table. This fool lights the damn thing and the force from the thing knocks over the table and it shot into a group of vendors, watching them scramble was a hoot. However, that particular NYE was the week after the Tsunami hit Phuket so allot of travellers had to divert to Pattaya. I think it was more crowded than normal. The big pisser is the girls could not go BF that nite, they had to work the bar unil t
  22. It's funny, because it's so true to form. Especially the part about the taxidermist. If you live in Texas and don't have CHG (Concealed Handgun Permit) listed on your drivers license your automatically labeled a Democrat.
  23. Thanks guys, you answered my questions. I'll look elsewhere.
  24. Any current information about Pattaya Centre? I stayed there in 2002 and it was old and run down then. I loved the Pool and the Location. The large Pool on the 15th floor was awesome. It was BG friendly. The current price of $34 for a Standard Room and $45 for the Deluxe is reasonable. The worst part was the stained carpeting and the worn out mattress. Never look under the sheet at an older Hotel like this. I'm trying to narrow down a Hotel near Walking Steet for late February. Did a forum search but Pattaya and the word Centre hit on to much stuff that is not rela
  25. Thanks a million.....the Pattaya Yellow Pages is exactly what I needed !!!!!!!
