Areca Lodge, Sandy Springs or Rockhouse

What's with this "ON TOPIC" bullshit? Get the ladies back in the ring! I want to see some bunched up knickers! Hijack Wars, Bout One: Mulphy The Rock(head) vs Jack MeOff Jones -
Yep a "BigD" bottle opener attached to the bucket handle. If yer really sharp, you will use plastic beach pails and have them screen printed w/ your bars name and sell them as keepsakes to drunken sailor's What happened to the day's when all I needed was a plastic pail and shovel to keep me happy at the beach? Now I need three bar girls, a cooler of beer, beach chair w/ attendant to wipe sand off my feet, waiter, waitress, oil massage, blah, blah, blah. I can't wait for my second childhood to kick in! Things will be some much simpler in a napie Am I getting of topic?

Depends on the beer. Bottles of shit lagers/pilsners taste best cold because your taste puds don't do their job wilst frozen. The proper temps vary from beer to beer so a happy medium should be found. I like the Ice water idea as some could be served less cold from the cooler, others could order extra chilled from the bucket Oh, and speaking of buckets, I like the places that will serve 4 -6 beers in an ice bucket! Maybe that would be worth having a go at? Slight reduction in price for buying in volume?! Feel free to market my idea as: "Sailfast Bucket of Beer" I will

The Arab beer bars off walking street are a source of continued wonder to me. How can anyone withstand music that loud? To those of you who love to listen to the music that loud: Take it from someone who worked in clubs w/ very loud music for years and did not start wearing ear plugs until AFTER the damage started...Don't do it.

Anyway, it's done and I feel better already. Thanks for you input! Sailfast

Thanks gentlemen. I will probably book the tickets tonight. Does not seem worth the gamble to wait. There did not seem to be a charge for the Hong Kong layover. I also found this information: http://www.farecompare.com/downloads/UsingHistorical.htm Here is the actual website: http://www.farecompare.com/ Bad news Touristman, more Septics on the way. We promise to make a concerted effort not to muck the place up. We don't want to distrurb the packs of stinky, shirtless, still bloody from last night's fist fight, chain smoking and coughing up a lung ove

OK gurus here is my itenerary: Jan 1- New York to Hong Kong for a few days. Then on to Thailand for a month Fly home Feb 4 Cathay Pacific will do the job for US$1168.00 including all taxes. Does anyone think this will go down in the next few weeks? Should I book NOW or wait?????? Thanks, Sailfast

Across the pond>>> I just found Thai Air JFK - BKK tickets in Jan "08 for US1245 (inc. all tax). This seems to be a drop from about $1500+ as I check every month or so. Cathay Pacific through Hong Kong seems to have come down a bit to less than $1200. Maybe there is a trend in the wind? I hope so as I'm shopping for January tickets.

There are many consignment shops in the US that will put your treasure/trash on ebay for you and take a commission when the stuff sells. There is at least one franshise that I know of. I don't think any of these types of places are related to ebay but will often have an ebay sign in the window.

I think you have to call United to use their miles. I tried calling Thai and they told me I must contact United. The hold time was really long when I booked my ticket, but they where very helpful once I got connected. The only problem was I ended up on ANA instead of Thai, but the flight was great.

Having a small camera on hand that takes half decent video will also make for some fun memories to look back on. You might end up using more video... a two gig card will leave plenty of room for video and quality pics...my 2baht.

A Buddhist Monk, a Catholic Priest, and a Rabbi walk into a bar. The Bartender takes a long look at them and then asks: "What is this, some kind of a joke?"

Not been to Siem Reap, but check out the Cambodian e-visa if you fly (you will have to google it), I did not use this service, but wish I did and will use it next trip to Cambodia. I watched people wisk through the e-visa isle and head out, no waiting.

Do NOT listen to BHY (he is one of "Them"). The government has implanted a micro chip/camera behind your left eyeball. "They" can see everything you do. A triangular hat made of tinfoil and a coathanger will stop the transmitions. Sailfast
