No, the subject of the thread is whether Eva is good or bad. I am aware that it is not possible to get a direct flight to BKK from Manchester. But your gripe is that you cannot get back to the north of england following a 19.10 hours arrival at LHR by Eva. So maybe it would be sensible NOT to use Eva.

Exactly. Why would anyone travel from LHR to BKK when they can get a flight from the north of England? Certainly not so that they can travel with EvaAir

Then maybe those people would be better getting a flight from Manchester to BKK

It gets into LHR at 19.10hrs. There are coaches to all parts of the country at that time.

I like the times of departure and arrival for the LHR-BKK trip and return. Generally very good airline. Dreadful food though.

I have recently returned to the UK after staying at the Irish Rovers. I only have good things to say about the place. Ian and Dominic are very gracious hosts. Good location. Very friendly staff. Have booked again for January.

In my view there is no better host than Pat at the Irish Rovers. A 100% solid gentleman. Makes you very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for him. Stayed there during April and have booked there again for October.

Which site did you use for the dummy booking? Certainly I can find no mention of a 747 on the flight referred to.

Is that for sure Gus? I have booked with Eva for 10th October 2009 and the type of airplane shown for that flight (BR 068) is a 777.
