I have chatted with and bought drinks for a few nice looking ladies in there. We tended to get on more as "mates" than anything else on the occasions in question. Maybe it is the nice atmosphere in there that lends itself more to a relaxing chat than concerted chat-up.

I have to say that the beer garden provides possibly the most relaxed atmosphere for a drink, meal and a chat anywhere in Patts. And now the bar fine promotion. Excellent.

I booked a taxi by visiting Mr T's usual site in soi Diana (almost opposite Areca Lodge) a few days ago. A young guy took the booking and gave me a card with the Mr T taxi service advertised on it. A lady driver turned up at my hotel bang on time. Trouble free transportation to the airport.

Always excellent parties where Adam is involved. Top bloke.

Anyone got any suggestions for reliable taxi pick-up from Bangkok Airport to Pattaya? I have emailed both Mr T and Pattaya Taxi Service at least twice but without response from either.

I have sent an email to pttaxi but have not received a response. I will give it 48 hours as I did with Mr T. from whom I received no reply.

The RG ticks most boxes but just a tad out the way for my liking
