Hi jack, The choice is absolutely enormous given your budget.

I have been using the Sabai Lodghe for years but I think it is now expensive, however you could get a deal there with that budget! No sweat. I would recomend a room by the dolphin pool. Large rooms, nice pool out front, gir friendly, cheap food, beer, good security etc!

Good Luck. :banghead

most of the hotels also have monthly rates. I have found the monthly rate usually averges between 10 and 14 nights daily rate. If you are staying for 2 months it is very possible to get a place that charges 1500 baht a night for 20,000 baht for the month. especially if you are paying the first month in advance. :cussing :beer

I've stayed at the Welcome Plaza Hotel for medium term (3 week) stays. 650 per night, which works out to about 20K per month. Great pool, and you really can't find a better location. Its right across from Pattayaland2 on 2nd road. Close to Walking St, Pattayaland(s), the RG Mall, and convenient baht busses to everywhere else.

I'm not sure if they would cut a deal for extended stays, but give it a shot. If you do stay there, let us know if they cut you a good rate.
