Any Idea about Diamond Beach Hotel

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Can someone please tell me about Diamond Beach Hotel in Beach Road, Pattaya? I couldn't find any review for this hotel. I think it's near the great location...the walking street and great price...Please advice.

thanks in advance

Sammy...

Damn good location for a very rundown hotel, it's worth staying away from. Food is bad, rooms are small and in need of repair. I was there 2 yrs. ago and won't be back.

I stopped in this year to take a peek...same story as before

In Pattaya, it's so easy to get around and the action is all over the place. But, you are a "newbie" and shouldn't be straying out too far on your first trip. I'll go out on a limb and catch some grief for this one, but the location would be good for you. I'd stay at the Haven Hotel { I did the first time}, it's easy to get to / from Walking St. and near the action of Soi 6,7 & 8.

No doubt about BKK, as you must stay at the Nana Hotel on your first trip, it's just a "freshman ritual" ... I stay at the Nana Hotel on every trip, as I've come to love that place

I have stayed at the Haven my last 2 trips. Never again. Nice location. Just around the corner from tq1. Good food. Nice clean pool. But the owner has a bunch of louts as friends and doesnt care about you staying there. They are a bunch of drunks. I came out of the water after one of the pissers said some rude things to me and my tg. They also shoot off fire works at all hours in that little hole. For the rooms I think 15 or less the price is too much. You can get much better for less in pattaya. later doorman

I stayed there for 3 weeks in December – Your right, the lower floors are closed for remodel, and I stayed in the back portion without an ocean view. I was quite happy, as I paid 800 Bt per week (High season) with a full American breakfast that was fine. (I ate at about 09:00 and didn’t have to eat any lunch, as the quantity of the breakfast was quite good and filling.

No problems for bring BG back for free (The security keeps the BG’s ID until they leave)

I would probably stay there again.

My only problem is that they did not have internet broadband.

Doorman..

I'll agree with you on the location, as it is a good one. Yes, the owner does has a major attitude problem. He has many friends who stay there for his golf outings and they are loud. I see he has raised his price to 950 Baht/night, so it would be better to walkup the Soi and stay at the Dynasty or Sandy Spring.

Actually, I'd rather stay at the Baybreeze Hotel, but I was trying to make it easier for his first trip.
