was just wondering if anybody here ever stayed at Rosie o`gradys hotel in Pattaya. i was thinking of booking there or at Sandy Springs. any help would be appreciated!

i will stay there myself in november this year for 6 nights.

will be my first time there.

I've read on other forums that it is a very good place to stay and very clean.

Nice friendly staff and a friendly owner

Alf..i stayed there in june. i liked the place. the room was big the bed was very comfortable. get a room on the lower floor, that way you wont have to climb up too many stairs.i also found the mgmt to be very helpful.oh yeah, i forgot to say the location is great...right in the middle of the action on soi 7.

hope this helps!

i have also stayed at rosie,s . every thing is good except you have to catch one of the owners before 7pm to get any thing out of the safe and also if you come back in the early hour,s of the morning you have to nock on the window to wake up the young guy they have as security to let you in other wise found it to be cheap, great location, and always willing to help with any comments you have , i stayed there in march this year but will be looking to find somewhere around LK METRO in november 2006

O K digs and nothing else, a lot better places in the price bracket are available if

you can be bothered to look.

Good basic English food but way over Pattaya price rates.

Why do these type of bars think thy are above other place and can charge

twice the price for very similar food ?

Answer, stupid falangs not knowing the score ,

Dont think its a case of being bothered to look

There are more than a few Hotels/Guest houses/condos in Pattaya, things change quickly, a place that was great 2 or 3 years ago could be an absolute dive now, all there Websites portray them as the best place in town.

Thought this part of the forum was about asking questions about Hotels etc :hijack:

You seem to be a man who knows Pattaya ranger, were would you suggest ?

If this is the big fat Brummie git that has owned it for the past 8 years or even his arrogant son then both must have changed attitude considerably.

They do have an excellent breakfast though, eat it on the veranda and watch the world go by.

OOPS sorry mate, it is probably as difficult for you to tell the difference between Dorset ( Me :thumbup 1luv ) Devon and Cornish accents.

It is him as an individual not where he is from that pisses me off. The way he treats his female staff in a supposed family restaurent. Perhaps he has changed, I don't know :D :gulp

:allright

For 700 baht a night you can get a room in low season at Flipper House just up the road in Soi 7, hotel facilities with lovely rooftop swimming pool, stay there and go to Rosie O'Gradys for breakfast and/or evening meal as food is good, with big portions.
