Northpoint Condos

Recommended Posts

I have a condo at Sky Beach in on Wong Amat Beach and the new Northpoint property is next door - they started to build some small buildings about 3 weeks ago not far from the beach - this looks to be one story high and the roof support is being constructed now - maybe a pool house oir sales office - the rest of the property still has the original vegitation - they are working 7 days a week from early morning to late evening -

As of today, prices will be in the region of 120,000/SqM. All condo's above 37th floor are reserved for investors, and price on the top floor is 127,500, decreasing around 500 baht per floor. What a fcuking rip off.

This stuff is like a boiler room. Word gets out that XXXX is the price and if you don't move NOW, the price will be XXXX + YYYY next week and even more thereafter. It's a technique that works. It doesn't have to work on you. It just has to work on someone.

That someone, if he's not walking around with a net worth of at least $10 million, could have his life destroyed by a scam like this. Truth is, as with all "investment", is that there will always be another one along in a few days. If someone then says that this is a chance of a decade, well, someone will say that about the next opportunity next week, too. And who knows, that next opportunity could be the same condo, being resold by someone -- for less than he paid.

Now that Northpoint Condos have been released it would be interesting and much appreciated to hear some feedback from the guys who have ears to the ground in Pattaya on how the sales at Nothpoint and (resales) Northshore are going.

Could somebody please explain to me why anybody in their right state of mind would pay @ 12 mil Baht for a 3 bed condo in Pattaya?

Especially as we all know that a Coup can take place at any time.

Take a look at the true value. You are able to find some VERY nice condos for around 40,000 baht per square meter. What makes an unknown unfinished condo worth double that price? I personally think a man would have to have rocks in his head to buy pre-construction and pay double or more than what he can buy an existing unit that has a track record and is ready to move into.
