Do any of you guys know if the Residence Garden offers a special price to board members on the 2 bedroom sweets. I was also wondering if you would recommend staying there on our first trip to Pattaya or do you think it would be better to stay closer to the action :ang2 ? Are there any other options closer to town with 2 bedroom sweets with a central living room (party area). I would also prefer an in room safe.

Thanks,

Win

hi just got back from staying there for 3 weeks, the 2 room rate is 2.700 a night, and there is a in room safe big enough to take a laptop, overall i couldnt fault the place, 15mins stroll to walking street or 3/4 mins on the bus to soi16 and a 2 min walk. would definatly recommend it.

The RG is also well located for Jontiem beach(far better than Pattaya beach). If a beach type holiday is for you. There are hotels nearer the action, but as a newbie the RG will suit you fine(guest friendly)If your going for lacation alone then try around Soi 13,one way is walking street, the other way Soi6,7,8 Big C Soi 2 .My Fav being the Lek between Soi13 andSoi12.

I stayed there and had two bedroom sweets...they were named Noi and Thip :banana , but seriously, I did stay there once. Did not have two bedroom suites (not sure they have any). No complaints about the hotel itself, just the location for my preferences. It's in an excellent location if you perhaps want a place that is easily accessible between both Jomtien and Pattaya, but I personally prefer Pattaya. I just stayed at an awsome two bedroom suite at the LK Royal Suite. LK Metropole has them also, I was going to stay there...but that's another story....

Good place to stay. Short walk to Walking St., great restaurant, 2 nice pools, very guest friendly. I am staying there again in Feb. Can't be beat for the price. Reserve room through the link on this forum for best price.

Hi Scoot,

How much did you pay for the LK Royal suite & the Metropole? Did they have one or two bathrooms? Did they also have a lounge?

Many thanks Daz

the rooms are real nice

might even do some home cookin' in here later, cause it has a full kitchen

there is no buffet breakfast, you've just got to pay as you go

so I go to Lek hotel for brekky (brunch)

wi-fi is good, but also had to pay extra for that...

the freakin' Baht drivers try to charge outrageous prices to go from the corner of 2nd and South Pattaya road

you just have to climb onto one that is getting filled with passengers, otherwise they will try and put the screws to you

I stayed at the RG for 11 days in October. They gave me a two bedroom suite and locked the 2nd bedroom door. During one late night, I had a case of the trots, and just then the toilet flush handle/chain broke, forcing me to reach into the water tank to lift the flapper to flush. The toilet paper also ran out at the same time. This was at 3:00am. A quick call to the desk, and the secuity guard was at my door with a couple rolls of paper and the key the the 2nd bedroom and toilet. I was very relieved in more ways than one .

As a newby, I found the location to be great. Less than 5 minutes to Walking Street and to everywhere I wanted to go in Pattaya by bus. I will stay there again.

The advertisement for the RG on this site states that all suites are one bedroom. So how long have they been providing suites with two bedrooms? And how much are they per night?

Thanks

They have 2 bedroom suites available at FLB rate of 2700 a night. Peak seasom is a bit more. Ib and Da run a really tight ship, you get excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
