Limousine

must lose smething in the translation to Thai

Even ThaiLimo (the charlatans that plague the arrivals hall) seem to think base level Mercs qualify!

12 years of visiting/driving in Thailand, can say Ive never seen a limousine there.

It's not a limo in the Western sense of the word. It is a car service that uses four-door sedans, but it's still better than a beaten-up taxi for the same price, all other things being equal, i.e. reliability, ease in ordering, etc.

Evil

To Jack Jones - you are not the union leader of the same name, I guess ( TGWU was it?). Have you ever tried thjis firm? If so, give us your comments. I went with Toom before but his vehicles were not very modern, but were on time and reliable.

Checked out their prices -same day Pattaya to Airport and return...... 2000 baht!!!!!

My little lady books a limo from Pattaya to take her to the Airport to meet me, and then return me and her to Pattaya and I pay a grand total of 1600 baht including parking and tolls.

Can't wait until 24/11...... and she'll be waiting at arrivals for me :hairout

RE-Limousine

My french is shaky but i believe the translation actually relates to the driver of the vehicle and not the vehicle itself. Therefore any paid driver in a vehicle is technically a "Limousine".

My head is full of worthless shit.....i know

Also your web site is down so no comment.

As i said in previous posts, i have a bloke in a new comfortable car that takes 800baht (whichever direction). Will wait forever for you and gives you merry banter during the journey if you wish. Anybody wanting this then PM me.

  • 3 weeks later...

I tried the Limo service.

They confirmed the email and when i arrive in BKK, the driver was there with a sign with my name.

The car was a new Toyota like it is pictured on the internet.

When we arrive at the Hotel, the driver wanted 1350 Baht instead of the 1200 thats advertised.

I complained and gave him only 1200.

Maybe the driver wanted to cash some extra money, i dont know.

I used the service last month. Driver was there to meet me and the car was brand new. Once in the car he handed over an ice box containing 2 complimentary cold Chang beers. Would use them again.
