There is a new bar opening on Pattaya New Plaza which is situated on Second Road opposite Sois 7 and 8.

 

It's name?????

 

Banana Bar

 

All BMs are welcome to come and take a look, and have a drink of course.

 

The usual selection of beers are available and along with good selection of spirits.

 

It will be opening on 5th March 2008....... unless there is a major catastrophe

Nice to meet you on Sunday. Sorry we didn't make it to Cherry. The beer overtook me and I had to make a rapid exit before I passed out!

And have spent a little bit of money getting it redecorated and such like.

It was the GFs idea to put "British Bar"...... but, yes, everyone is welcome!

 

There might be a little trip report about the adventures of buying a bar, and all the grief that has gone with it.

And I am expecting to be called a fool!

As the night progressed a few of the local barowners visited to check out the new kid on the block and by end of the evening the bell was rung quite a few times

 

A good first night was enjoyed......

New Plaza is getting some quite good reports lately so it's on my "to do" list for my next trip starting next week.

 

I'll be sure to drop in for a couple (or more).

Banana bar is closing for a few days........ Unfortunately I have to fly back to the UK , and the GF is heading up north on a recruitment trip for some farm-fresh talent, and a chance to see the family. But the bar will be open again before the end of next week, hopefully with some farm fresh cuties

I really like Strongbow, which is surprisingly difficult to find in Manhattan. I'll be there next week.

Somehow I just can't see the words "Bannana" and "Bar" together without thinking of an infamous establishment in the Amsterdam RLD.

 

I'll have to drop in next week to check that any similarities are limited to the name.
