Pattaya Beer garden update - 15 June 2008

Pete:

Looking forward to stopping by, the place looks nice.

i like the pool table idea with the following caveat - IMHO, the pool table would only be a negative if not placed properly to spoil the chill out atmosphere with noise - thats if space allows you to do so.

I hope you got a price break on the baht bus signs for your "indepenent" ladies! :allright

Last night I barfined my friend from the siren complex and took her for a drink in the beergarden. With the barfine special or whatever you call it i payed 30bht for a jackcoke and a vodka-lipo. Brilliant. It is now the starting point for my evenings where I can get mau for cheap, keep the BG happy and not have to play stupid dice games.

Is there a checkers or chess table in the bar?

Never mind the red Xs. I think thats a internet provider problem at my end.

No, but I did think about it. Definitly no connect 4 or jenga but checkers, chess and backgammon could be good for those who enjoy a game. Anyone else interested???

Not only that.

"Single Ladies Welcome" would be better off written in Thai not English.

ps. Looking forward to my first visit.

Hi Pete,

It's great to hear the bar is getting off the ground so well, I can't wait to see it.

My handle will give it away but I think some backgammon sets would be a great way to enjoy a few beers and the beach atmosphere while also staying long enough to see if any talent sparks the interest.

Good luck!!!

Randy

Had the 120 baht big breakfast there late this morning.

Nice friendly service.

4 other customers.

Enjoyed the music videos: Thunderstruck (AC/DC), Helen Wheels( McCartney and Wings), Road to Hell ( Chris Rea?), and others.

I love music vids.

Thanks Pete.

Will be back.

chico, grrrrrrrrruf

The beer garden will definately be on my must do list in August. Like a quiet drink during the day and in good suroundings. Pool table could be a good ice breaker for the shyer BMs as long as they dont distract from the atmosphere. Have you got a website or is one being developed?

I made it into the Pattaya Beer Garden yesterday around 2 - stayed for an hour and a half and enjoyed it thoroughly - the music video's, the great view of the beach and town, the sea breeze, the friendly staff. There was 1 lady in at that time that was clearly a freelancer and several couples of varying ages.

As I walked in one of the waitresses greeted me, told me I was welcome to look around and sit where ever I like. I chose to sit at the center bar and was very pleased to see a nice bottle of Jameson just asking me to drink some of it! I tried the big breakfast and noted that as usual in Thailand, over easy means over hard but that seems to be everywhere.

Personally I think the place is a great addition - for me it will be a place to sit and relax in the afternoon after my noon visits to Soi 6 or Welcom Inn or Lolita's and before getting my nap so I can get out and about it the evening!

Hmmmmm!

Whilst I was on my way home from Cambodia yesterday, my missus along with the wives and girlfirends of Jambo, Sweaty and Doggie decided to frequent Pete's place for grub. This was between 2,20pm and 3.30pm. :devil

only trouble is most of the hookers in Pattaya have a TBF waiting for them at home, so they aren't actually single

Single means solitary in this context. Nothing to do with their marital status.

Now piss off

:clap1
