Are you implying that this was not an accident?

I was to be in Pattaya this week, for the first time, but due to Bkk being closed, cathay refunded my account. From my research of pattaya, I keep coming across stories of men falling to their death. I was just curious if any of these accidents were later ruled otherwise.

Alcohol! Stupidity! Carelessness! Substandard (by western standards) construction practices! .........

I think it is not so much the nefarious as it is social Darwinism.

You will be more concerned about tripping on their bad sidewalks or getting run over by drivers that have little regard for pedestrians.

It is a great adventure. Not to be missed. My third trip is in February.

I call BS. The US does not fund Thailand, so no such threat ever was made.

Tell what really happened (if anything) or admit you made it up from some barroom story.

And your authority for this is what? You carried the funds. Or what?

What kind of "black funds" do you think exist in the US? You made this ridiculous claim, so keep digging.
