Moveing to pattaya

IMHO rent for a year. Look around and see what's available. I plan on renting a house when we make the move.

Rent. This is not a good time to "invest" in Thailand. Having said that,...I did buy a condo in Pattaya, but that was over 6 years ago and before the Russians and others started throwing their money around. And before so called 5 star condos were proliferating. Yes, there will be some good buys this coming year due to the market declining. BUT....the political situation in Thailand would have to settle a bit before I would contemplate buying if I were you. Yes, rent for a year as has been suggested. Things are a-changing and who knows in what directions the changes will take.

Moveing to pattaya in june should i buy or rent
Rent, despite what the condo sellers tell you! You may not like living here, you may not like living in the middle of it all. A lot of guys end up in a house, with more space and quieter surroundings, with the funtown near enough to visit.

Absolutely rent.

I am renting now, and am 8 months in after moving here, and I have no regrets at all.

No matter how much time you spend here on Holiday, your views of the areas change significantly after you move here.. and those views will be important when deciding where you want to live. Rent for a year and then decide.

I've signed a year lease back in June and moved to Jomtien in August which was the right decision for me.I will be moving south or to Cambodia at end of lease.

See reasons above re: purchasing.

considering the section this is posted in then my advice would be rent a cessna 172 from one of the aeroclubs around the pattaya area, buying your own aircraft, or especially your own airline would be too risky in todays market imho!
