Hi Tom. How much is a bottle of water in Catz? If 85baht, hardly something to blast out on the internet mate.

PSP, I see the magic word..."Pig" and will stop in tomorrow. I think I now know of TWO pig parties tomorrow so I'll bring an extra 500baht to buy my drinks. Really appreciate the bottled beer happy hour as well.

Cheers mate.

Eh?

I go to the pub to drink alcohol ........... the weekly shopping gets done at Tesco.

That said, even if a bottle of water was 85 Baht in Catz, the mark up would probably be less than a bottle of Singha in Misty's. Or, so I assume. :clap2 Anyway, I'll keep the comparison in mind. :banana

And, even a twat like you won't be around to see if it does or not as it obvious that you are no fan of Misty's and likely won't set foot in the place again.

It is clear to me that, for reasons I have yet to work out, you are not a Fan of Misty's.

Given that fact, I assume that will not be visiting us any time soon which, by definition, means you are no longer a Customer.

Accordingly, I see little point in my addressing any more of your inane drivel.

Remember though that the boards are not one on one conversations, they are public and only pandering to the already converted is largely pointless.

IF someone asks, bang a price list up and be done with it. Failure to do so only leads the non converted to think that you and the establishment are embarrassed and no-one is embarrassed by cheap prices are they ?

Take the flak and move no. When you put your head over the top of the trench you must expect some incoming.

It doesn't really matter that PSP won't post how much a bottle of beer costs during normal hours.

Mistys' happy hour prices are already 10 Baht more expensive than Catz's normal hours prices.

What PSP should be doing is trying to convince us why we should pay the premium.

Maybe the Mistys girls are far better looking than the Catz girls ???

I don't know

Maybe they are just more greedy at Mistys ???

Exactly the point. I have no problem paying premium prices if I'm getting a premium product. I'm in Pattaya the week after Songkran so I might take some time out to do a direct comparison between the two places (Misty's and Catz).

Why would that be taking time out? And your basis is flawed. These joints change like the wind plus it only takes "one" or "two" good/bad experiences to make people think one is better than the other.

Misty's remains clean, comfortable and within the price range of the other GoGo's. So is Catz I assume.

I'm just missing your point Tom. Please clarify. Thanks. Nok

Because i could be do something more constructive but I'd like to solve the mystery of how much a bottle of Singha costs for the benefit of other BMs.

Incredible but true...the price that you pay for a beer during Misty's happy hour will be more than for the same beer purchased at Catz's...even when it isn't happy hour.

If you compare just on happy hour prices only?...then a bottle of beer is 25 baht cheaper at Catz compared to Mistys (65 baht compared to 90 baht).

Here's, Misty's attempt to save you money:

Being the Charitable, Generous, Kind-Hearted Folks that we are at Club Misty's (sic), we have decided to "do our bit" in tackling the Credit Crunch.

Accordingly, starting on Friday 13th March 2009 (good date eh? ) we will be introducing a new Price List to ensure that "Your Money Goes Further at Misty's!"

We shall also be introducing a new Happy Hour from 8.00pm - 10.00pm the details of which are as follows:

….

ALL Bottled Beer (with the exception of Corona) = 90 Baht.

We look forward to Welcoming You.

............................................... 85B DRINKS !!! ........................................

… You want lower prices ? You got 'em......

From tomorrow, ALL drinks* (except ladydrinks) will be priced at 85B (65B during happy hour 8.00-9.30).

Want a bottled beer ? That'll be 85B.

Jack Daniels/Johnnie Walker Black ? 85B please.

Even cocktails and Bacardi Breezers are just 85B.

No exceptions - every customer drink in the bar is 85B.

We've also reduced ladydrinks from 110B to 100B and barfines are down to 500B from 600B.

I'm not sure why certain individuals here are so interested in the prices at Misty's when they are clearly not interested in becoming Customers of the Bar.

With regards to your final sentence, that pretty much reflects the view I expressed earlier in this Thread.

Hope you are well.

i agree that the beer in Catz is a bit cheeper, but i will make one point, you have to get it first, i was in this week and had JD and coke, and a Coke for my GF, price 170 Bhat, 2nd round same price, however it took me getting up walking around the dance floor to where the 2 service girls they had were sitting down and and bothered about serving to get it in, neddless to say there was not a 3rd round. And there was only about 4 others in at that time so they were not run of their feet.

This is not a problem when i pay my 195 Bhat in Misstys for the same round and get good service, so yes if saving in my case what is 25 bhat on 2 drinks, but have poor sevice is what you need then go aheed, your money your choice

I have never stated that Misty's prices are cheaper or even equal to those at Catz.

Catz is a far smaller establishment with less overheads than those we encounter at Misty's.

As others here have stated, it is for individuals to decide where they choose to spend their Money rather allow themselves to be dictated to by a couple of self-appointed Experts on an Internet Forum.

I wish to make no further comparison between Misty's and Catz.

Catz is a well run bar, with very competitive prices that is Owned by 2 Guys I have nothing but respect for and whom I consider to be Friends.
