! New Pattaya Videos from 1987 !

Recommended Posts

Wow Kaiyai

Very interesting stuff - the first part of that first clip seems to finish at the left turn at Subway/Walking Street but what about the other bits..... anyone? Looks same-same but different...

Thanks for the nod KY (huhuhuh he said KY)

Really good to see especially the layout of Soi Diamond with the subtle differences you forget about.

In the Baby Go Go 1988 at 58 seconds the girl with the frizzy hair eating the fruit is the lady who is now the massage lady in Flipper Lodge !!

Great videos indeed, very rare to see films from Walking Street before it was WS! ;)

Haven't looked through them yet, but will soon with great anticipation, 1987 was the first time I went to Pattaya as well! :P

That link (directly above) didn't take me to any videos of old Pattaya.

1987 seems like yesterday, but I guess it was 22 years ago. Jeez, I was in the middle of a five-year sabbatical back then. Why didn't I think to go to Thailand? I could have easily done it.

Anyway, nice videos.

Am I watching the wrong videos.....?

Trip to Pattaya 1986 seems to be mainly Germans talking and being boorish, plus some bad Thai acting.

Does it get better after part 3?

No ! <_>

Something that did "hit home" with the older videos was the almost total disappearance of the trees and shrubbery today in comparison to the 80/90s. It sort of goes unnoticed when you are regularly visiting or living here. :crying:
