cardiac ct /ebt scan in pattaya?

Recommended Posts

Since i'm trying my first 3 or 4 way in Dec. thought i might get a Cat Scan screen for heart and lungs.

I contacted Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and they came back with these prices

CT brain 9350

CT coronary 17,900 (12,000 special until Dec31) Not clear if thats 64 slice or EBT.

CT chest abd 31,200

Seems a little high. Any recommendations.

I'll only be in Bkk for 1 night so would prefer Pattaya

Also when customs asks why i went to Thailand again i can answer Medical.

There was a presentationn at the Expats Club a few weeks ago. Mainly they were hyping MRI scans, but CAT was also mentioned as available.

The hospital is the Phyathai in Sri Racha, about 20km North of Pattaya.

I feel they will compete on price with the Bangkok Pattaya.

Memory not much use here, but there is a web site...

Sorry for correcting you my friend but Sri Racha is 20 kilometres north of Pattaya not south.

I asked about a CT Scan for chest and addomen at Pattaya International Hospital Soi 4 when I was in there recently, and the girl on reception made a call and came back with 18,500 THB.

Reason I asked was that as I had paid for one back home in UK last year and wondered what the difference would be.

£850 in UK.

I have no idea about the different types 64 slice etc, and if indeed this is what you require, but thought it might help

CT heart, waste of time, it will tell fuck all, you need an angiogram.
