they used to be quite cheap, now i am looking for a flight in June £977 on ebookers...fucking amazing, thats a sure fire way of luring the punters back!

the only affordable direct flights now appear to be Eva. they are still quoting £458 for my dates. and don`t get me started about BA

Think the airlines and travel agents are trying to scare us into parting with money before we need to in order to keep them afloat! The pricing at the moment does not make sense??? I check Netflights on a daily basis and they have all of a sudden jumped from £369 to £450 in a matter of days. It is my humble opinnion that the prices will level out agin in Jan Feb for the April may runs.

Personally I prefer Eva to Thai anyway. As regards to price, as you know, they will probably comedown ......question is when!

If were you Id book with Eva, unless you prefer Thais mid-day flight from Heathrow, and the return from Bangkok early morning?

If Im honest ,I prefer to leave Bangkok early morning, as it gets you back in Heathrow early morning! (as oppose to Eva landing in Heathrow about 7 in the evening). But for me anyway, I prefer Eva (probably cos of Thais lack of I.F.E.!) so I go with them!

Obviously though for some the flight times with Eva can be a pain in the arse!

Yes, i think you could be right, wait till jan/feb for your prices to maybe drop.

Try Kayak.co.uk and get them to email you daily / weekly with the prices on your dates and routes, works quite well.

Well the Thai baht has appreciated 30% on the feeble £ in recent times so that will not help.

Even Joekicker has been known to be a little critical about Thai Airways and their approach to doing business.
