Cant argue with that pricing from Manchester !! 23kgs is still slightly more than most.

Take into account 7-8 kgs of hand luggage plus a few kilos leeway on the checked baggage and you're looking at 35 kg in total ?? More than enough ??

Thats a hell of a good price. I thought I had done well with £543 on Etihad. Mind you I go on 20 July, which is in the midst of what is normally an expensive time. Towards the end of August prices tend to fall with the holiday season tapering out.

booked direct with etihad myself for £495 flying out in november, but another mate booked on friday night flying from manchester on 28th august returning 26th sept, again direct with etihad for £460 and with good connecting flights, travelsupermarket had £452 for same flights using netflight but with % add ons for credit cards would have been more expensive than etihad

all in all good deals for a good airline

cheers

:D

Showing at £452 with Netflights going out end of August, that's £100 cheaper than the next one up,pretty good considering all the extra add ons to the fare these days, they do charge extra for cc bookings, excellent times as well. Not making the trip this year, god knows what the fares(and exchange rates) will be in a years time.

Just got this in an e-mail from a mate -

"Booked Etihad flight on weekend £457

22Nov LHR-BKK

1 Dec BKK-Abu D-Dubai 4 7s

6 Dec Dubai - Abu D - LHR"

Not bad if you're a rugby fan and want to take in the Dubai 7s on your way home.
