Nothing very much, I think, otherwise those people would be behaving far from calmly! It is just the angle from which the photo was taken.

IIRC,flaps are extended on takeoff also.But I'm old and my memory is bad.

It's taking off. GIYF but think "telephoto lens" and there's the reason that people aren't running. It is 145 metres from fence to runway, according to people who do this stuff.

Sorry but it is not in Blighty the number plates aren't from there and neither is the sign.

You can see the spray from the tarmac as he has just rotated, would not get that on landing.

The word you are still struggling so mightily to find to make the poster's post "better" would be parkeerplaats?

 

Other than that, there's no chance you could make that post better, since it was so clear. In my opinion, using a foreign word would make that original post much WORSE not better but that's me.

Whilst just googling for info on the new Eva aircraft with the seat problems I found out the image was taken at AMS, BR 747 taking off from runway 36L, still a good piccie.

Older board members will remember the Eva 747 one at LHR
