This vid could go into any of the 3 threads devoted to videos…….

Sometimes less is more….. let's see how a music vid, (one of the crassest of all time) does without any music? I think it's better!

I'm sure many people in the Uk are familiar with this………But forgive me, living in Thailand, I wasn't….. Today I entered another youtube wormhole and came across it.   I'm not sure why I filled up

I wished I could still do that, but after a lifetime of playing sports and getting older every day, I am not able to do that anymore. :lsmile

I am a huge Pat Metheny fan and I have everything that he has ever recorded including his own albums and those whom he has played on

This is one of my fav tracks from Mr Pat but i have a live version. I do not have too much of his stuff. Reccomendations ? My favourite guitar players are Lee Ritnour and Larry Carlton and they did an album together back in '95. Check them out doing LA Underground at Newport Jazz Festival on youtube. When i listen to that in the morning it sets me up for the day.

Been a Steely Dan fan forever and also like a guy called Michael Franks that nobody has heard off. Worth checking out though.

I was sitting outside my room in the Melasti Beach Inn on Kuta Beach Road, waxing my surf board in August 1977, when the news came through that Elvis Presley had died. Certain things stay on your mind forever. I am not sure, if soccer fanatic Mr Lasvegas was kicking a ball around with little kids from Bali at the same time.

I'd forgotten about this one hit wonder……….

Very well written……."Not much between despair and ecstasy" I was a chess fan long before I visited BKK and liked the song for it's chess references……….that's all gone out the window and this song more than any other conjures up 2001 and my first visit to a BKK a go-go…...
