Bringing a Bargirl to my country. Good or bad idea

Recommended Posts

Scottie,

It wouldn't hurt mate, if you feel comfortable with the girl and would like to treat her to a free holiday or vacation as you yanks and canadians put it, then you go for it. B) . I don't think a week would be long enough though, so ask her to come for a month, tell her you have to work for 3 of the weeks of her stay, of course you will have to find alternative activities for her, to stop her getting bored while your at work, surely you have some female friends back in Canada? I wouldn't trust her with any male friends ;)

Also, if you do take her back HOME, then remember, she is still on the clock and should be paid accordingly. Good luck to you :D

trust me it is very difficult for a thai lady to to get a visa

for Canada

especially a lady who works bar

Hey Scott

Bobby is right here. It's not easy to get a visa for a Thai bar girl. Almost imposable. If it were easy, most of us would have girls delivered to our homes, and not have to go to Thailand. Your government wants to make sure that she has strong ties to Thailand, and has reason to go home, not stay illegally and become a drain on the Canadian government. If you check, they will want her to be a land or house owner. A business owner or have a verifiable steady job, and good money in the bank. Just to get a tourist visa. None of which she has.

When you entered Thailand, you came from a first world country, to a third world country. It was assumed on arrival that you had money, would not overstay, become a criminal, or go on welfare. You were also required to have a return ticket. Going the other way around, third world to first world, the government is very suspicious, and lots of hoops need to be jumped through to ensure that a third world tourist goes home at the end of their holiday.

Interesting responses.

How many times have I read threads here that come to a conclusion when someone writes something to the extent of " Well its your dollar/baht why should anyone tell you how to spend it." The bottom line is that I somehow think that you have made up your mind and really are looking for confirmation from others. It is however your dollar so no one really has a look in as the decision is all yours.

Mate of mine did the same, only married her out there, she wasn't a bar girl but worked in hotel bar/catering, got visa, girl got over here to UK she, met up wth some Thai ladies she met in the street on the second day she came here, and went out the same evening with them, moved in to their house and my mate never sees her. Now she's into drugs and drink in a bad way, he's stuck with her, all the cost and worry and nothing in return.

Their political direction also comes from Jesus freaks who are deathly afraid she might fuck some-one out of wedlock while in Canada. :dhorse

Move on mate its always hard for the first few weeks after getting back home but in time you will lose the urge to bring a girl over who you don't really know.

If you do go for it i sincerely hope you are mentally a very strong person and can handle the situation you want to be in because you are only going to make things harder for yourself when she go's back home to thailand.

The best advice i can give you is "fuck and forget" it was a tattoo above a girls arse i went with with years ago.

If you bring her for short visit, month or so, you will get pretty good idea will it work for longer term. If it don't, just send her back. Just don't make hasty commitments, like visiting jewel shop for rings.

yeah, and all the rings are fake

does she even need a visa? we don't going to there country

Are you kidding with this question? We don't need a visa for most countries, and those we do it is a formality or a way for them to earn money, example India, Brasil, China, Russia.

We allow USA, EU (except Czech Rep), Commonwealth and that is about it with no visa. We just started requiring Mexico to obtain visas.

Example last recent figures Canada had about 1 million tourists TO the Dominican Republic and we allowed 254 FROM there to visit Canada and most of those were likely rich or business people. A ratio of 1 to 4000 "them" to "us".

Here's the bottom line besides being a terrible idea after 5 days knowing someone you will not get a visa for her period. And Canada does not allow a program of sponsors, guarantors, etc., and she won't even get asked to come for an interview after you pay the $140 fee and wait 6 months to find that out.

why dont you just quit your job and return to thailand and be with her here?

You could teach english in her village and make about 30k baht per month.

That's like 5 times the monthly salary in her part of thailand.

Tell her all that I just told you and see what she says.

Then go from there.

Sorry Rick, I don't travel much as i already stated, so i had no need to be up to date on this stuff until now. Also if you read my post, i haven't known her for 5 days i've known her since May 2010 when i first went to thailand. I spent 5 days with her when i was i just there a few weeks ago.

What flag is that on your profile?

If you are Canadian you don't seem to be very nice. :kissing

but thanks for the info :chogdee !

This probably ISN'T the site you should be looking on for advice or encouragement when it comes to taking a girl from the p4p industry back to your home country but I will say one thing, as a man who has done exactly that and has now had his wife here in my country for nearly three years: there are anomalies to everything and don't listen to the people who say it won't work........

I have had my fair share of ups and downs in that time and I have made that known to the board lately but I have recently discovered that I am being a complete ass hole when it comes to my wife and have very nearly ruined probably the best thing that ever happened to me and if I'm not careful I will ruin it altogether. I have been so lucky when it has comes to my Thai wife and really didn't know until lately just how lucky I am.

If you really feel in your heart that you love each other then go for it but I will say one thing: if your relationship is built around money and how much you give her right from the start then I would proceed with caution because I would question whether she is genuine or not and exactly what her motives are. Myself and my friend both married Thai women around the same sort of time and bought them to the UK and he is beginning to learn that his wife is only here for money and doesn't really love him whereas my wife is the real deal........I'm just too selfish to be a good husband.....

In the four years I have known her I have given her family a grand total of about 20,000 baht and that was only once, the first time I went to see them. My wife is actually LOWER maintenance than previous girlfriends in the UK and all she asks for is that ONE DAY I build her a house on her land in Buriram AFTER we have got our own lives together. If your girlfriend wants you to send her money from day one and starts to lay the law down about how the future will be and how much money you will have to send her family etc etc etc then I wouldn't get involved. Everybody is different and some people are loaded and do not care about money but I know that even if I did have lots of money I wouldn't feel comfortable in a relationship where you basically "pay as you go" because she isn't with you for the right reasons then and will NEVER respect you. I could quite easily pull myself an Asian looking chick in my own country that has Western values......

He bought her from a bar, why would she love him ? She probably detested him from the first time he paid her barfine, of course she's there for the money. I'm glad your wife is different. ( My sides are splitting and I'm literally shaking with laughter )

So using that rational, a girl from a bar can never love someone? Interesting......

I always laugh at people that judge others when they are so very ignorant to the circumstances involved. You don't know me, and as I said before this isn't the site for this guy to be looking for encouragement when it comes to this matter. You may be interested to know that when I first met my wife she certainly had a past but she wasn't involved in p4p then......she was sponsored, granted, but the fact remains that she wasn't involved in it when I first knew her. FACT two: I have NEVER had to send her family money and in many ways I have been better off when my wife came to live here......but again, I won't go into details, all I can say is you are ignorant to the circumstances involved. My wife works, has her own money and isn't afraid to put the electric on or buy groceries if we are short of money......I came home the other week and discovered that she had bought me a designer shirt that I had had my eyes on for a while and I know it was £65...........yeah I BET you are literally shaking with laughter when you read my previous post............. :kissing

Go back to mongering my friend and all the shit that that involves. Now I'm not saying I don't love that and I don't do it myself but I always do it knowing I have someone special in my life waiting for me somewhere............ a long term relationship isn't for everyone and not everybody has the attributes required to make one work........maybe you have never had one? Like I said I don't know you so won't post absolute shite like "my sides are splitting and I'm literally shaking with laughter."

Now for fear of a thread fuck........can we get back to the topic in hand?

My girlfriend works for a department of government, both in Thailand and internationally. Yep, still laughing.

So effectively, your girl's "different" too? How fucking ironic!!!!!!!!!

I'm not saying my sides are literally shaking with laughter but I'm definitely laughing. :kissing

Yawn.....................

I keep forgetting that having a wife/gf who was never a whore makes one a freak on these forums. I must trade her in for a Buriram bargirl so I can fit in.

So now you're saying that your wife has never been a whore either? That she really is different? Fantastic. Mine used to work in Nana Plaza. Yours works for "the government" but not just in Thailand, "internationally" too. Ho hum.

I see you edited your nonsensical post to one equally baffling ! Ever here the words embassy or consulate before ?

Bored with you now.
