Cheap flights to BKK from AUS

Recommended Posts

A long wait to November now but just back from 17 days of madness in Patts. :chogdee

Budget carrier Jetstar just had a Friday Frenzy sale and i booked return airfares to Bangkok .

After carry on baggage only, seat allocation fees, taxes and credit card fees the total of my ticket was :

$396 Australian bucks return, and you could book just one way for $198 if you wanted, wow :chogdee you aint gunna beat that anywhere.

Same dates fares for other carriers are,

Singa air $1227

Thai air $1185

Brunai $$890

I stay at the LK Metropole for about $55 Aus a night in a super flash as fuck room, 14 nights there now is virtually free based on i was going in November anyway. :thumbup

Jetstar could not pay me to fly with them. They are crap.

Good luck anyway M'8 if your flight does manage to depart and arrive anywhere near schedule.

To the OP , that is a cracking price, the best ive got is is about 690 return

Flown with Jetstar many times, whilst they may not be Singapore Airlines they are far from being crap. Only once have been delayed and they informed six hours in advance got a text message saying plane has been delayed, so no problems I just spent an extra few hours in patts.

I always fly Air Asia from the gold coast, then 3 hours at KL b4 flight to bkk. When they have a sale on I often pay only $200-250 one way to bkk but been as low as $150.

I to have heard all the bad relations storys about Jetstar but the few times i have used them i have had no problems.

I flew with them to BKK last month and while were half an hour late leaving made up the time flying and got into BKK 5 minutes early.

Coming home left ontime and arrived 15 early.

No complaints and at under $400 return i dont care if i get slightly fukd around. :allright

To all thanks so much for the updates

Very Much appreciated

However living in Australias Premier Olympic city (read dearest city in Southern hemisphere to fly out of).

All these cheap as deals normally from Melbourne (about 900kms further away from BKK )go Figure????

Malasyian Airlines involves stop over in KL,Im used to paying a bit more now for straight 9hour flight to BKK

Only wish some of these Cheap Charlie Carriers would fly out of Sydney.

Then again gotta thank our dumb as DOGSHIT government selling Sydney airport to Maquarie Bank (poor buggers only made 1 billion $$$$$ last year).

Yep lets sell all our assets to foreign companies, great government in action.

And everyone though the U.S.A. government was SIMPLE.....
