Absolutely fantastic.

The gestures, the energy, the cadence, and the pronunciation were superb.

Thanks!

Honest to god, I have tears in my eyes.

Thanks Tom, never seen the Thai Tims before, being a Welshman I liked the Joe Ledley Celtic Dragon song (although I'm a rugby man).

I'm glad I'm not the only sentimental one.

Thanks Tom for a great video and for supporting a great organization.

Having visited the Tims website I am led to believe that it is a Downs Syndrome charity.I have to say that none of the kids in the video were recognisably Downs kids ,or is that because they are Asiatic and I just don't notice it in Thai kids. That's a serious question by the way.It may sound daft but when I saw the video all I saw were some great kids enjoying themselves and I had no idea that they were handicapped in any way other than in their English .I am so impressed with what I saw I will make a donation next time I am in town.

PS the other vids posted are also fabulous

This may clarify things. I've got to say that I'm not necessarily a big fan of some aspects of what the Lennon family do.

That's not what they say.

They accommodate and educate children with Down's Syndrome, unlike other schools, meaning they wil accept them, as well as other children.

So its not a school for kids with downs syndrome ,just a school that allows them to learn with other kids.

That makes the vids ,still fun ,but not as impressive as I thought, when I believed that all the kids had Downs syndrome

Great video! I always have a soft heart for kids, no matter what.

As a grandfather that lives with "Special" children on a daily basis I have to commend the poster and suggest that this is a great example of what is going on in our community of which we know so little about.

Fantastic videos....The smiles on the kids are infectious and the energy displayed is there for all to see.

But the whole story is one of tragedy. The Scottish kid(Raemonn Gormley) who brought all of this to Chanthaburi was murdered on his return to Scotland at the age of 19.

He made a huge impression on the lives of all those children and the teachers of the school. His memory will live forever.

See Post 10. The couple behind the whole thing are an Anglo Irish guy and his Thai wife (Paul and Pun Lennon). Raemonn Gormley was a volunteer teaching assistant at the school in Chanthaburi for a couple of months last year - see the article on celticunderground.net from early last year.

I stand corrected...I thought it was Raemonn who introduced the Celtic songs to the School but the teaching of them was obviously something that had gone on long before he arrived.

Thanks for the info as I have been fascinated with this since I first read about the Thai Tims.......... but my god............. what a horrible tragic ending that young man endured.

The trial of the accused starts towards the end of this month.
