I saw Bazzap posted that he has booked a flight in late October.

I can't seem to book a flight in September online. Not sure if flights all full up or maybe the route is not in service yet?

Anybody know?

The Bangkok service commences with the winter schedule i.e. from 31 Oct.

They have very customer friendly flight times. Leave bkk 3.40p arrive clark 7.55pm and leave clark 12.35p arrive Bkk 2.50p looks like only Monday, wednesday and saturday. Much better than cebupacific. I will certainly switch for my next flight in january,

great timing i agree Cebu Pacific is a shit airline anyway would rather fly into Manila with Thai Airways than with Cebu Pacific.

I have booked for Feb 2012 - with 15kg luggage the price was equivalent to 3300bht, about £70 or $112 return flight.

That is a great deal.

I can't see anybody using Cebu Pacific anymore if Tiger performs well.

I don't think it's actually Tiger - more a codeshare thing (I could be wrong, but that's how I read it).

Bear in mind that Air Asia has just started its Philippine offshoot which will also be based at DMIA. Flights to/from BKK should be announced in the near future.

Is that likely to be on or after 31st October also?

There is something prompting me to say that is Tiger Air not a subsiduary of Air Asia as in the budget end?

No. It's a Singapore company, partly owned by Singapore Airlines.

Tiger Air has their offshoot South Eastern Air (SEAir) for their flights out of Clark. I'll be flying them for the first time after Xmas. I paid $USD228 for a round trip ticket Clark-BKK-Clark. I hope it's all good because I'll do the same trip in the future.

I took the plunge and booked a return from BKK to clark today. Out on 25th January and return on 28th March. cost was $154 for the return, all included. Just hope they prove to be reliable, the flight times was the deciding factor, tho they were cheaper than cebupacific as they have promo fares on.
