Totally agree. This happend straight after the 7/7 London bombings when the guy started running from armed police. What where the supposed to think ? What would the NYPD done in the same situation straight after 9/11 ?

reminds me of that old world war two saying when the Germans started bombing the British would run and when the British started bombing the Germans would run. when the Americans start bombing everybody runs. certainly a very sad situation for all involved in friendly fire incidents.

What threat, it was shooting on suspicion, it wasn’t in a battlefield in some desert ,and even the army when they deal with civilian they got rules. I can’t find any excuse for not investigating this officer action, he was lucky this time that the victim wasn’t British.
