Good offers with Air Asia at the moment

Recommended Posts

A bonus living in Thailand does not cost a lot to fly to a Paradise location for your holidays.I have just booked flights with Air Asia to fly from BBK to Krabi in March ,return flight cost about £50 ,you can pay this for a single train fare back in the UK

Good offers on at the moment with Air Asia ,but be selective with their add ons as price will go up.

For example when i looked at offer to fly from BKK to Krabi in March ,started off at about 870 bhts one way with the taxs ,1 baggage over 20 kilos ,normal seating total cost about 1200 bhts one way

But still very good price compare to Thai Air

I look at flight with Thai Air cost one way 3000 bhts

I only used AirAsia once when flying back to Australia.

All flights out of Bangkok had a delay on them and I nearly missed my connection in KL to Australia. Luckily they got me on an earlier flight.

Internally in Thailand they appear to have better service.

Yes Air Asia are a very reasonably priced airline if you book in advance. I flew one way from Bangkok to Surat Thani last year and it cost me 1500 baht.

I personally have only had one flight delay with air asia on an international flight out of bkk,and i have had a few, however i have had 2 delays on domestic flights within thailand with them so it just goes to show it is the luck of the draw whenever a flight is delayed,i would prefer to have a delay and the problem sorted than any problem left just so the flight could be on time.

Who the hell is worried about a 20kg baggage limit to Krabi? Flip flops, 2 T-shirts and a bathing suit is all you need.

Golfers and scuba divers?

You need to be careful. They have a totally separate fee for golf bags and scuba equipment - and they won't offset it against your 15/20 kg supersize thing, or whatever. IIRC, sports equipment is more than double the cost of "normal baggage".
