Thought i'd help you out with that sentence. RED indicates what you should have typed.

:P

While the grammar and spelling police are here I'd like to add that "I" should always be a capital. :D

Mai pen rai

Careful, you may need an explanation with that one.

"I" think you know what "I" mean.

Exactly. Surely curiosity would get the better of you? I know the Thais are secretive about their language, but please, counting to ten? Asking for a drink? The bill? Asking someone their name? Disrespectful and arrogant not to know the basics in my opinion. I'd learnt that sort of stuff by then end of my first trip.

I thought the only phrases you needed to know were

A large beer and my friend will pay ---

Where is the bathroom ---

Is your daughter 18 ---

The first thing I learn wherever I go, in any language is...Where is the bathroom?

Absolutely. The second thing: The difference between "boys" and "girls" in writing.

Do tell! At least we know it wasn't a grammar school position.

That's just me, but that's why I don't have much of a go at people for grammar,

Waffling a bit Joe?

Back to counting.......

I thought I was making great strides when I didn't have to count through the Thai numbers with my fingers to get to the one I wanted. :thumbup

I seemed to stop learning at that milestone.

Heh. You call that a go, you thin-skinned git?

But I promise to try to remember your sensitivity. "Try".
