Are the bars closed any days soon

Did a ride around on the bike last night. Soi 7 and 8 were very quiet, a lot of bars hadnt opened but those that did appeared to be selling alcohol. had a SSC myself in one. New plaza also quiet but definitely drinking going on, and the same in the Made IN Thailand complex tho a lot of bars chose not to open.

we were told told last night a few go go closing 18th 19th because too much water

 

we are outta thailand for a few days so wont bother us

The night of the 18th, all of Walking Street turns into a water fight. This is from last year.

have to admit there were some highlights in those vids

 

but none that would convince us to stay

 

theres good n bad with all its just a shame the dickheads with attitude want to spoil it

 

but same same with any country any festival and of course if you dont like it dont go

Ive been here for every Songkran for the last 13 years.Back then come 7pm, everyone used to stop.Not any more i fear.
