Go on and give it "The glass is half full" treatment.

I bet there are still thousands of women out there. I bet some of the places such as Baccara are pumping and I would also bet that you wont get a seat in Insomnia, Marine or Lucifers around midnight. You will however get your meal in good time at the PBG and the girls will be so pleased to see you on bar crawls and places such as Ban Chang. The cost of accommodation will be half or two thirds of the cost that it is in high season and you will have no problems getting a relaxer round the pool. The baht bus into town will take a lot less time and Beach Road will be pumping.

For me all of the above is a bonus and I pay less and get hassled less for it. Now thats the half full theory.

You looking for guys or girls? Plenty of girls around, but not so many guys.

The latest I've been there is mid Nov and the earliest is mid Feb.

Never seen the peak season unless payin' a bit more for half empty hotels counts.

It's quiet now if you are looking for bars and gogos packed with guys, but there are still more than enough girls to fill anyone's dance card for an evening.

Never had a problem finding a girl. Occasionally, after you've been there a while, one does get a bit picky tho

Are you somebody who needs lots of guys in a bar/gogo to know if you'll have a good time?

Hi. I was in Baccara Friday evening. There were many dancers inside, way over 100!

They had a lot of customers too, but upstairs was not packed as often on WE; maybe only 2/3-3/4 full I think. No problem to get a seat.

There was something unusual though: very few BF ??

I left at about 10:15pm and only 2 numbers were erased (BF) on the board. I counted on the board and still 43 girls upstairs on 45 present 1 hour before. I use to see at least 10 BF when I left at this time... (They write the board about 1 hour after they open, so early BFs do not appear here).

Lot of customers with dancers company and lot of LDs though.

PS: Maybe fewer BF because guys wanted to go see the JO opening ceremony? I will return this week to see.
