Hi,

Cracking game at the Bridge last night. Chelsea failed to polish off Spurs and they paid for it. Spurs showed great bottle to fight back and could have won it in the end. Wigan seem down this time round. I'll be sorry to see Wigan go down, will Martinez get the Everton job ?

Hi,

Stoke stand in Spurs way this weekend. Not a team many would pick to play when they need a result and Stoke need a point to be sure of survival. Newcastle have a tough away match and face Arsenal on the final day. Wigan are 2/7 to be relegated so the bookies think they are down.

Well they will take the FA Cup down with them.

Hi,

I really enjoyed Wigan beating those highly paid superstars. Ya Ya Toure played like he was on an extended holiday. McManaman was great for Wigan and I was happy to see that Honduran/American Roger? Espinosa win. Those Scottish/Irish players and South Americans from the backstreets of small countries really showed their street fighting ability. They had no fear of City for sure.

Hi,

Just Wigan and Sunderland in the mix for the drop now. Both have games against the teams going for the final Champions League place.

Hi,

Well done to Chelsea. Flying the flag in Europe.

The Champions League Cup last year and the Euro Cup this year, beating a demoralized Benfica 2 to 1. Congratulations.

Hi,

A less than usually exciting last day of the Premier League. Arsenal and Spurs provide the battle for the final Champions League place. David Moyes has his last game in charge of Everton before taking over at Man Utd. Tough job but he has proved a good manager at Everton. Chelsea are in the unusual position of being in possesion of the main European cups for a few weeks. Having won the Champions League last year they now have the Europa Cup as well in their possesion until next weekend when the 2 German teams decide who takes over as Champions of Europe. They will be dancing on the Kings Road this evening.

Didn't somebody predict what the exact order of the top four would be at the end of the season? Oh yeah that's right it was me. :D Just as well I had some money on it - a nice little earner. ;)

The top four from first to fourth will be:

Manchester United
Manchester City
Chelsea
Arsenal

After all the hype about City before the season started and how many people thought that they would dominate English football for a while in turned out to be won by United by the biggest margin for years. 20 If anyone wants to know what the top four will be next season then send me a message a week before the season starts although I must warn you I will be charging for that information. :D

LOL. Sure you did. :thumbup Is betting on the BPL an example of you immersing yourself in Thai culture? :llaugh

And if they contact you a week after the end of the season you'll tell them what your bets were. :llaugh

Good game with WBA yesterday though. Didn't you also "bet" that they would be relegated and their manager sacked? :ninja:

Hi,

Arsenal clinch the last spot for the Champions League. Scholes, Carragher and Owen call it a day. Great players of the Premiership era.
