I see on the Austrian plane the words "the hills are alive",

 

anyone no what this phrase is associated with ? I saw it at the drive-in around 1968, the singer initials J.A.

I would guess that that phrase is associated with the movie, The Sound of Music, being set in Austria and all. And it also being the national airline for Austria.
