But I must ask do they work in an environment that insists that protective boots with toe caps must be worn, I do and have done all my working life and these tactical boots are the most comfortable I have ever worn.

I used to wear these Redwing trainer types as site requirements stated steel toe caps ....

Although I was mostly in the control rooms and out-and-about less frequently.

Always getting into arguments with those safety morons though!
