Hello Everyone,

I could really use some help and have had trouble searching on this forum and on line. Here is what I need, any suggestions would help, Thank you in advance!

A group of friends and I will be in Pattay from nov 5-12 to golf and party for my bachelor party ( how I got 6 married guys wives to allow them to go with me on a bachelor party I will never know but that is another story, lol)

I am trying to find a place we can all stay either together in one house or a place with either 2 or 3 bedroom rooms so we can pair up but still have out own room. Only 2 of the 6 have ever been to pattaya and I was thinking somewhere near walking street etc would be good but not sure how to find places with what we are looking for. I just want to be able to have a sitting area we can all hangout, drink, play cards, bs before we head out at night etc.

I have seen places in Jomtein, is that too far from everything? If this were just me I wouldnt mind staying further out because I have been here before but I want these guys to experience pattaya as i did for the first time but I am deff open to suggestions.

Any info would really help to point me in the right direction

Thanks,

Chris

As far as I am aware the Irish Rovers in Soi LK is a golfers bar. Its in the thick of things and central for a rave up. There are others in the same soi that will arrange your golf and look after you at a reasonable price. Sorry the names of these places elude me but I am sure that others will know.

Haven and Ma Maison on Soi 13 would appeal to your needs (Haven is a Golfers hang out). To be honest tho' there are umpteen different places meeting your criteria around Pattaya.

As someone who had has many "gang of buddies" vacations over the years, the last thing you want is what you are looking for. Find a hotel that will give you all your own rooms next to each other with some adjoining. Perhaps one large suite to party.

Myself and five friends have stayed at the Residence Garden with rooms all in the same vicinity, mostly next to each other. It worked out well because the rooms are all large suites. They even have large two bedroom suites if you really thing you need to bunk up.

I've done as many as 16 on golf trips to Myrtle Beach S.C. HUGE condos... and it was fun...sort of...until it wasn't... Great memories, practical jokes, driving golf balls out of the living room onto the beach 6 stories down at 3 am, practical jokes, poker games, hookers/strippers back to the room, practical jokes, but I would never do it again like that.

I certainly would not do it in Pattaya. I like my bar girl time without interruption.

I would be looking at renting a villa. But the attraction of sharing rooms seems lost on most here. Sunview has adjoining rooms so that may appeal and a baht bus to WS or hit the bars around there which are not busy but have plenty of pool tables and girls doing nothing. And an easy walk to LK Metro

Thank you guys for the info. I read my post again I wasnt clear in my request. I definitely want each of us to have our own room, do not want to share a single room but want a place with 2 or 3 bedroom suites and a common area where can hang out. I have looked at the residence garden and it look since is there anything similar close to everything else as well? How about staying in Jomtien, is that too far? Thank you guys, i appreciate your help

Although Jomtiem is a popular place, with a long beach, many restaurants and suitable for staying, the night life isn't there. Getting to and from is an aggravation..... much too far to walk, heavy traffic between there and Pattaya, and heavily used transport.

I think the RG is going to be your most economical choice for suites. The food is also fairly good and they handle special requests as good or better than many. I think the two bedroom suits are all on the top floor. The living area of all the suites is big enough for several people to hang out and opens up onto balcony with sliders making the room even larger if you need it :)

The service was so good I wrote the owner a letter to compliment the staff. I have stayed there six times for at least two weeks a stretch. I must say that it's been 3+ years since I've been there so... I will be staying there again in Feb.
