BigD I tried quoting you but it doesn't work.

IE11 is not the problem. The problem is the forum software not being able to handle IE11.

not like getting a 4k tv and moaning about the lack of content available.

This problem has been reported on quite a few boards of all types. Not an unusual situation for glitches to develop when a browser or board software is updated. Usually takes a few days for the relevant tech people to work things out, but the grousing about IE 11 has been going on for a week or more.

Try clearing the IE cache, then restart your computer. If that doesn't help, no choice but to use a different browser until the bugs are ironed out.

...... since I've recently upgraded to I.E.11 and I read that MM recently did a Forum software update.

Test.

Edit: Have just downgraded to IE10 and seems like I'm back in business again.

Yep, I can't do quotes or multiquotes with IE 11 either.

MSFT has done it again.

Basically, it's a problem that can't be solved through tweaks by board owners or members. The fix has to come from Microsoft or Invision.

I switched to Chrome and the problem went away.

I don't have a problem with IE11 for the simple reason I don't use it, and haven't used IE for years..... I use both Firefox and Chrome.
