VT6 - New Project on South Land

Hi,

New Kantary Hotel to be built from early next year on the big plot of land along ViewTalay 6 (VT6)

2 separated building: 15 storeys on Beach Rd side, 28 storeys on 2nd Rd side.

 

For example, in Pattaya we plan to build a Cape Collection and Kantary Collection hotel on 24,000 square meters of land at the cost of around 3.5 billion baht. The Cape Collection hotel - our luxury brand - will have 70 rooms; the Kantary Collection hotel geared towards long and short stay guests will contain 250 rooms. All of the quality facilities and features of our hotels will be present at these two Pattaya properties; our Cape Collection hotel will feature the most opulent beachside bar in all of Pattaya

Those at the lower floors of the 15 storey building won't get much of a Sea view with the overgrown gardens of the House in front.

 

Not sure what this place is? Occassionally see ppl working on the gardening and a few dogs sitting around...but not much else.

It could become worse, because I think that on this land along the road

you are authorized to build up to 14m (?) high, about 5 stories.

And have to tolerate dust and construction noise and works vehicles trundling down 2nd Rd, and Tai.

A few years ago they found the body of a young girl there ( who had died giving birth I think but could be wrong). I was walking past as the Pattaya news bunch were taking photo's and pointing.

 

I often wondered when this plot was going to be developed. Someone , somewhere has got rich by selling it off. I pity the locals though, probably got 2 years of construction noise to look forward to.
