Not ever heard or seen one of those crackers either.

Was returning a few things at Target tonight and on the main isle endcap a New Years party pack caught my eye. And damned if not on the upper shelf there wasn't an 8 pack of said Crackers. The British invasion continues. :D

my gran had half a dozen silver threepenny bits just for the christmas pud,a lot of grans used them back in the day when they made the mince pie mix and the pud, called stir up sunday the sunday before Advent[four sundays before christmas].

Geez, dont tell me that the Americans don't eat Christmas Pudding as well and having never heard of Christmas Crackers? I will not be emigrating!

 

As England and the USA share a language, it always comes as a surprise when there are differences in culture or the use of language.

 

In the USA do you have a pudding club? At Christmas do you enjoy stuffing? When Father Christmas comes does he fill your socks?

Hasty's, out of a bird or a box and no. But he does fill our stockings, which are oddly, sock shaped. :D
