Rock the Sausage (2nd Rd & Soi Diamond)

Recommended Posts

German style sausages and Belgian style chips/French fries?

Looks very tempting on a night out.

Might tempt Atlas2 from his diet?

I prefer playing 'Hide the sausage'

Jeez, that was fast!

I'd wouldn't eat the home made mayo. This is a very dangerous food that's prone to early spoilage. Commercially prepared mayo is pasteurized. This will retard salmonella and the possibility of food poisoning.

I wonder what kinds of German beer they have? And at what prices?

According to the menu board in pics 3 and 4 of the OP, Erdinger and Warsteiner are on offer at 120 baht.

Had lunch at this joint yesterday.

The seating is aggressively uncomfortable, so it really is more of a takeaway place, but the food is delicious. Sausage is zesty and lean and the Warsteiner beer is delicious. Priced reasonably. They should get some brisk trade at night.

I hope I haven't become obsessed with sausages, but I did have another good German-style sausage meal at the Brauhaus Restaurant on 2nd Road near the corner of Soi 7.

Rather than start a new thread for the sake of one quick meal, I'll include it here.

I had the daily special (frankfurter with potato salad) for 155 baht. Both the sausage and potato salad were very tasty, no complaints at all.

It's a full-service German restaurant that also serves a variety of Western and Thai dishes. Prices are modest and the restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating.

Bottom line: I'll be back to try more of the German dishes on the menu.
