You mad Bro?

Guys, he won't stop until you agree with him or stop replying...and ttk, you accused joekicker of being one who had to have the last word   By the way, just to keep this in perspective, bad call o

Unlike buzz head, I know how many CB's are in the leaque and how many most teams have.I also know that he was exactly right wben he said Sherman only had 3 tackles because they do do run plays his way

Read that, video shows Seattle starting both the pushing and the punching and Gronk throwing nothing his Grandma would proudly consider a haymaker. But don't let that get in the way of a good tale

I think the Seahawks should be remembered for this...being really bad losers.

The Seahawks reacted in the heat of a hardfought game, and right after victiry was lost on a 1 in 100 play.

I don't see anyone posting pictures of the patriots victory parade several days later or any of the instances they were caught cheating.

image.jpg

They have already been proven to cheat by videotaping opponants practices and "According to ESPN, 11 of the 12 game balls were found to be underinflated by about 2 pounds each. The NFL specifications say they must be inflated to 12½ to 13½ pounds."

Talk about bad winners and a team mentality that cheating will let you prosper.

Pretty sure none of your excuses will change how the game ended nor who walked off the field with the championship trophy. It was darn good game so I'm thinking, let it go............

Just responding to comments about the class of the saehawks... Which is worse, reaction in the heat of the game....or classless displays days later.

Even a patriot fan can not get that wrong

I'm curious...do you like the Seahawks or just hate the Patriots?

I have been a Seahawks fan since their inception. I can appreciate a well fought game by great teams and honest effort on the field.

I never had a team I hated and rooted to loose except maybe Oakland in the 70's with Jack Tatum

Prior to the disgusting behavior during the "victory parade" it was just like the Seahawks. Now I will root against New England no mater who they play....even SF :-)

What's the issue with the victory parade?

he apparently does not appreciate the payback of Edelman dissing Sherman after Sherman got in Brady's face in a previous game the Seahawks happened to beat Brady.

Pay back is hell.

Of course, Lynch ran for 102 yards on 24 carries and a TD at last Sunday's Super Bowl, as compared to Blount's 40 yards on 14 carries

Come on..you can't be serious?

Anyway, what they did in this parade that got you riled up is hardly relevant to their on-field behavior at the end of the game, while the clock was still running.

Frankly, I loathe both teams, but the better team won (fair and square).

how many teams do you recall celebrating somwones loss and not their own win. A miraculas interception at the end hardly makes them a "better" team. It just makes them the winner.

A true fourty whinner.. Your hatred of the Seahawks is obviuos.

Is that due in part because it comes at the expense of the NFC west and particularly the 49'ers?

I admit though the 49'er organization is good entertainment... I still get a good laugh about the memo they put out telling people in SF how too properly cheer the next time Seattle came to town

Everything but the game, LOL.

Your guys lost due to a nearly universally condemned play call...your OC even blamed the receiver.

Your attempt to justify it with statistics goes against almost every pundit's opinion.

But, that's okay...keep going on about off the field events.

Victory parade? How droll.

The call is certainly not nearly universally condemned. In fact, there is a large group who believes the bad coaching was by NE.

Lets take this slowly.. 2nd down on the 1 yard line with a bit over 1 minute left. 3 downs left to score. The whole world expects a run and a touchdown probably on the first play leaving around 1 minute for Brady to work a miracle and get into field goal range,a very doable thing. Seattle had 1 timeout left which if you follow footbal realy means only 2 runs when the second down was started at 26 seconds...no time for a third play. In reality 2nd down was a throw away play if the pass works, great. If not we take 6 seconds off the clock. 20 seconds is more then enough to run twice with one time out left.

I can see NE brain trust now....hmmmmmmm lets put in our goal line defense to stop the run.....but this is all to get Seattle to throw so have whats his name jump in front of the receiver intercept the ball and then step out of the end zone to make the game exciting.

Had the 97+ probablity tuned out, the world would be condeming NE for blowing any chance by not calling timeout.

Worked great for NE...i bet every team will use that next year

But how about my last question....do you hate the Seahawks for their success or the fact that this sucess is at the expense of SF?

It was a weird game for sure. Seattle's killer defense could not put out enough pressure on Brady. There was also a lot of trash talking that led to the brawl on the last play of the game.

The last sequence did not have enough time to run 3 running plays. They also did not have a down to spare to spike the ball and waste a down. A pass play at some point needed to be called although they could not have chose a worse one.

Just before half time when Carroll made the decision to go for the td with 6 seconds left i was like "wtf" are you doing? Funny how how when calls work out coaches are geniuses and when they don't they are morons according to us arm chair warriors. I certainly don't agree with the way Seattle handled the last sequence but if the pass play worked out i would have been out of my chair. Either way it was a great game

As I said earlier, I am not a fan of either team, and whoever won, would have been fine.

Just to reiterate, NE won, and no amount of excuses changes that.

There's always next year...get over it before you blow a gasket.

I hope the next 49 Super Bowls can be as entertaining as this one was. Not a fan, or hater of either team......was just an entertaining game to watch by two very good teams playing for all the marbles.......

I have never said or made excuses for the loss, I am trying to show the pass call, however bad the outcome, was not bad like most people think. Football is a game of risk vs reward. You take certain risks (interception or incomplete) based on the reward (touchdown).

You considers fumbles and yards lost when handing the ball off.

Lynch had 3 fumbles in 2014, 4 in 2013 and 5 in 2012.

Lynch also scored only 1 time in five tries from the 1 yard line in 2014

I don't have his stats handy but he had carries in the game where he lost yards, some when when it was not an obvious run call with the entire defense geared to stop him.

No pass play from the 1 yard line all season by any team had been intercepted= low risk.

Vs the reward....a 3 point lead. To add even more reward, use as much of the clock as possible. It looks like that was 6 seconds had the ball not been caught. Had we scored too fast, Brady would have time to get into field goal range....kicker was almost automatic at 50 so 2-3 10 yard passes would have been enough.

You are convinced, despite the explaination of why, that the call by Pete to throw on 2nd down in the direction of a non star player was the stupidest play in super bowl history.

What would the stupidest call in Playoff history be.

Driving down the field toward posible vicotory in the closing minutes and challenging a pro bowler to defend a pass? Most teams had already figured out that was a bad idea since had 20 in the previous 3 years(4,8,8). No count of how many times he defended the pass for an incomletion.

There will soon be a statue at the Clink immortalizing that call.

I agree that next year will be exciting to see. Arizona should give us a run if they keep their starting QB healthy
