Does a refresh fix it? It should. I see that when the connection is slow sometimes.

Sometimes no any refresh works, sometimes no any problems, sometimes mixed....

Have you tried formatting your hard disk and reinstalling your operating system?

As a pal of mine used to always tell me 'defrag your hard disk'.....I used to say OK, thanks for that while thinking 'it is only 45% used you thick twat'....

I find the board response time slow often but pages are loading okay.

Actually defragging your hard drive is a good idea regardless of how much space is left. You computer eventually puts little snippets all over the drive and the computer has to jump all over the drive to find all the pieces. It apparently doesn't hurt anything but it does slow things down. There are free small programs that defrag automatically.

I THINK Linux does not do that.

And I am pretty sure they warn you not to defrag SSD's

Posted from my mobile so I blame any spelling errors on that.

I have one SSD in an old netbook and yes, it came with a warning not to defrag it. Apparently defragging shortens the life of the drive.
