Many of us watching were stricken with disbelief when England once again proved clueless - they rarely fail to disappoint when it counts. No imagination, no idea what to do, passing the ball around in

England totally outplayed by little Iceland last night and i hope they are feeling the embarrassment of the situation on there way home today , the best move Hodgson as made in a long time was to quit

Yes I've never been able to do the Welsh accent without slipping unintentionally into Pakistani.

Im Welsh,

I would be amazed if they win...........Realistically, I think if they dont lose by more than 2 it will be a result.

Belguim looked great against Hungary....Just hope , Wales will show their usual passion....then "hope"! the result goes their way..................... Very much doubt it though!

England have gone through the whole gamut of managerial attributes in recent times, and have had the same results every time. It just has to be the player's attitude coupled with the fact that certain good ones are totally drained after playing nearly every game for a successful club (ie not "rotated") Kane and Alli definitely fell into that last category, just as Lampard etc. did in the past.

I cannot seethem being able to appoint an English manager this time, without downgrading the position. The favourite Southgate is already an epic failure at club level (and boy's teams do not operate in the same way), they might just as well bring back his mentor, Mary Poppins IMO. Pardew, is both unversed in European football and does not posess the decorum required for the appointment, nor does Fat Sam. A proven "tactician" would be the way to go IMHO, as I cannot think of any "shake 'em up" types such as is prevalent in the rugby world, available anywhere. So, in the absence of any available suitable English candidates, I might feel inclined to try one of the more "Anglicised" continental managers (unless article 50 is ever initiated ! ); Rafa Benitez, depending on Newcastle tie-ins, would be my choice, but DEFINITELY NOT Wenger!

Yeah we made yet another football manager very wealthy for being a failure!

Hi,

I would support Wales, except my money is on Belgium. :clueless Germany look strong at this stage. Maybe the managers will decide it ? Italy seem to have a top manager and he is going to Chelsea after the tournament ends.

I still find it a pity that Croatia didn't trow Portugal out of the tournament.

Portugal today showed once again that it doesn't belong in the semi-finals or finals .

My estimation now is Belgium and Germany in the finals witth a 70 percent chance to win for the Germans

Hi,

I thought Poland got too defensive when they took an early lead in this game. Played for a 1-0 which they were entitled to do with their defensive record. Didn't work !

Belgium is about to make the same mistake in the first half of their game against Wales.

Wales was ready to be knocked out in the first 20 minutes by a brilliant Belgium.

But the Belgians made the fatal mistake to lean back after the first goal.

That gave Wales the opportunity to take over the lead in the game.

It's good for a potentially spectacular second half though :ninja:

We need that after a few boring matches the last days.

Hi,

I knew when I saw the 2 new defenders for Belgium that Wales had a chance. Kompany and 3 other defenders were out before the tournament and Vertonghen and Vermaelen missed last night. It was too much for Belgium to overcome. Wales played well and deserved victory. :clap1 Wales has only a few million people and 100 million sheep, so it is a great achievement. They could win it now.

Portugal has won no match after 90 minutes in this tournament yet, so you never know what will happen against Wales.....

Well done Wales!

And the English........(Although we did our pathetic best to stop them by beating them ...luckily 2.1).

"Wales made the last four of Euro 2016 thanks to a 3-1 victory over Belgium

Ashley Williams, Hal Robson-Kanu and Sam Vokes found the net for Wales

All three of the Welsh goalscorers against Belgium were born in England

Nine members of the Wales squad were born across the border in England"

In other words as Welsh as Lloyd George.......Born in Manchester!!

(It's OK Im just jealous.......Come on Bale's Wales.........Beat that cocky bugger Ronaldo)

Ronaldo has had a quiet tournament thus far , maybe now is the time for him to shine and put 3 past the welsh goalie ?

Final.........Germany v Portugal............Germany to win in extra time

Hi,

I thought Germany would have won with a full team. They were short some important players and didn't get the run of the ball. Looks like France name is on the Cup. Sometimes things go like that.

Hopefully France will shine in the final . They can do much better than they showed so far. There's no shortage of players in their team talented enough to play an exciting match.

I'm afraid though that the final will be a boring tactical match that ends in 0-0

A bit of an anti climax watching that game last night , i gave up half way through 2nd half and headed to the pub to finish off , most punters in there where supporting portugal and they eventually got that long awaited goal , France had there chances but couldn't put the game to bed , all in all a bit dismal really.......!

Hi,

After being outplayed by Germany it was questionable if France deserved to win the tournament. They were a little unlucky but should have been able to put away a tough but limited Portugal. Portugal always have good technical players but seem to lack really good strikers. Well done Portugal anyway. :clap1 I feel I was a little unlucky that my bet on Croatia went down.
