I ordered delivery from Naando's Indian Restaurant on 3rd Road around the corner from Soi Lengkee. It opened recently in the premises formerly occupied by Bite Me! I opted for delivery because the TG

All dishes on the menu are 50% more expensive than any other Indian restaurant.   Especially vegetarian dishes that are more than overpriced.

I ate in Naandos the other night. They have basically just taken the Country Favourites menu and increased the prices of most dishes by just over 10%; my chicken Jalfrezi was 220 baht compared to 195

Anyone on FB who checks on for updates on the daily specials - please like and follow this link to the restaurant, now known as 'Balti Towers'...

Heads up - the refurb is taking a bit longer than expected (TIT/Pattaya) so temporarily we've moved a chef to another kitchen. This means that deliveries will resume from Wednesday, but the inhouse service at Bite/Balti Towers won't get going again for a few days yet.

I want to avoid walking up to your restaurant only to find I can't get a meal to eat in.

Will your FB page always say whether or not you are open (as a restaurant) each day, please?

If you get why it's called, 'Balti Towers'....You'll understand my pun. If not?.........It's perhaps not worth your effort to delve much deeper.

OK. With you now.

Don't think Sybil would allow Basil anywhere near LOS.

Here's the Tuesday special. Amit gave me a taster last night and I loved the combination. A pork vindaloo - first time I've tried that - with a kulcha stuffed and dripping with cheese (similar to a naan bread, but made with maida instead of wheat). Really, really delicious.

What's the best way to a man's heart ???? Well just serve him a biryani .Cooked with aromatic basmati Rice a traditional biryani is cooked using rice and meat layers together and giving it a " Dum" a technique in which the biryani pot is covered with wheat dough and topped with heated charcoal while allowing it to cook on low flame which enables the meat and rice to cook gently .

Today's special is a biryani with a twist .consisting of two tandoori chicken legs and basmati rice which is covered with a masala sauce and garnished with deep fried onions and coriander .if you have a big apetite then this thing is just for you .Only for 349 baht it's a must have meal .

And when they say more than enough for 2, believe me, it is!!

I didn't read this bit, ordered it, and struggled to get through half. Great taste though

I'm not on FB & the website's are closed with calls to that number going straight to a call back service that won't take my number.

Can anyone offer advice on how to get a delivery from this gaff?

I've tried Indian by Nature twice & both were awful so tried one on the new indian gaffs in town & that was inedible.

I'm after an old school curry just like my mum local curry used to make back home

I don't know for sure, but Balti Towers by Retox may not be operating. The Web site and FB page have been closed and there's been no review on TripAdvisor since February. Perhaps another member knows for sure what happened?

I can't offer any suggestions on other sources for U.K.-style curry as I don't eat it.

I had a curry in Secrets a few months ago and was impressed. Definitely English style.

The chef's gone back to India, he's supposed to be back mid-June, but who knows?

Try Curry Home on Soi Buakhao, Little India on Soi Dianna is also popular, plenty of options available for Indian food in Pattaya.
