I think AI development needs to be slowed down so that humanity has a chance to really understand the risks associated with it.  Unfortunately, human greed makes that very, very unlikely - technocrats see billions and trillions of dollars to be made by this technology and using caution is just in their way.  This goes way beyond image generation, of course.   YouTube is already filled with AI generated garbage content that isn't declared - it should all be required to be labeled and filtered out if the user wants.

Google is already full of total crap that is AI produced. Don't believe information unless it is cross checked in a few directions....

For those of you older members you may remember 20 - 25 years ago when "content farms" were pumping out garbage, low quality website content and entire websites that could be used to post ads at.  It was terrible, Google eventually woke up and changed the algorithm to push those sites and pages far far down off the search listings and the practice went away.  AI has re-launched the same idea, this time with humans barely involved.

I have recently been using the image generation section of the free version of Chat GBT.  The below photograph was taken at Royal Garden Plaza.  The prompt was show the lady plus three identical twins dancing on the beach.

I used Chat GPT to edit the top image.  

Edit the image to remove all reflections from the car body work. Darken the background and blur slightly. Ensure all parts of the image are correctly exposed.

Edit to make the paintwork shiny and pristine.

Whilst the programme has followed the commands, overall I was disappointed.
